EXO Blackhawk2 Pro
I just received my EXO Blackhawk 2 Pro and am excited to fly it for the first time soon! One immediate drawback for this beginner is not knowing anything about the required license to fly it(either the easy "flying for fun" license or the more extensive "commercial use" license). Additionally, just received today, an email explaining a new requirement for a "Remote ID" starting 09/16/2023. There is a list of drones that already have the remote ID installed(EXO is not on it). The list is here:... If your drone does not have the remote ID, you are required to buy a "broadcast module." I cannot imagine how much more clunky it will be to have to lug this thing around(I have no idea of what its size will be). And, of course, they recommend only buying drones that have a remote ID already installed.
Cinemaster 2
I am surprisingly impressed with this drone. I thought this would be a 'get what you pay for' type of deal, especially after seeing some 'decent' reviews, but it exceeded those expectations. The camera I'm able to use for real estate imaging, the drone flies really reliabliy and was easy for my (not old!) self to learn to use.
Had a bit of a shipping delay, they said it had to do with wrong zip code, but communication was easy & it arrived in one piece.cinemaster 2
I ordered a cinemaster 2 from the EXO website. At the time they were completely sold out unfortunately so bought on backorder, but gotta say was pretty impressed once i did receive it. Video quality was quite good and overall just fun to fly. customer service was also helpful when i reached out for updates on my order.
EXO Drones
Hate seeing bad reviews because EXO has been nothing but GREAT to me. Customer service is 10/10. They are merging with Hubsan this April (2022) and that just shows how well they're doing. Looks like bad reviews are mostly from a while ago, which makes sense because they only started as a company in 2020.
Drone purchase with 2-day shipping
I recently bought a drone from this company and went with 2-day shipping. Unfortunately, dealing with their customer service wasn't great. Even though I paid extra for faster delivery, my package didn't ship when they said it would. The tracking details were late, and when I asked about it, I got mixed messages. The reps said my package would come on time, but it was pretty obvious there were shipping problems. They even tried to blame a system glitch for the delay, which just didn't cut it. All in all, I was really let down by the service and the poor communication during the whole thing.
Drone purchase
I just bought a drone from this company and I'm super bummed about how low the quality is. The thing is a total dud, constantly showing error messages. When I reached out to customer service for help, all I got back was useless responses and no way to get the parts I need. This drone isn't even a year old and it's already acting up.
Cinemaster 2
Big step up from my DJI mavic mini 2 on quality. Camera is the same, but quality of flight/drone just feels a lot more qualiy & responisive in the air. Service was also great to do deal with. Happy with the purchase. Glad to get out of the DJI china ecosystem.
Blackhawk 2
Overly happy with my Blackhawk 2 Pro. The camera is just so impressive. Range is also really good, and battery life really long. I had other EXO Drones in the past and they were so-so, I mean good for the money but not thatttt good, but this new one is ?
X7 Ranger Plus
Bought an X7 Ranger with obstacle avoidance about 3 months ago. While the video quality isn't the best out there, camera quality and features for the price point seems hard to beat. Flying it's been pretty easy and customer support has been helpful.

Exo MINI pro rocks! Exactly what I was looking for in a drone. Easy to use is a plus and the part 107 course i might use in the future. And exo not supported by the CCP!!
Mini Pro Drone
I recently bought the Mini Pro drone from this company, and I was really excited about it. However, turns out it's just a cheap knockoff made by some company in China. The website claims it's a US company, which is a total lie! The drone keeps overheating and flying all over the place. I've been trying to return it, but EXO Drones' customer service is terrible. They never answer the phone, and all their emails seem to come from China. I'm still waiting for a return authorization, and it's been a total nightmare dealing with them. Seriously, don't waste your money on this company. It's a complete scam!
EXO Cinemaster2
After doing my research, I purchased the Cinemaster2 drone in December 22 as a Christmas present for my son. within 2 weeks the included battery would no longer take/hold a charge. I subsequently made a support request for an a replacement battery. EXO was very quick to respond and sent me out a replacement. HOWEVER, the replacement battery will not hold/take a charge either. I am not sure whether I am just unlucky and receiving dud batteries or if there is a ... issue with the product. Regardless, I am now stuck with a drone that is TOTALLY USELESS and NO I will not be purchasing an additional battery... once bitten, twice shy. So, if you are shopping for drones, I would definitely recommend looking for an alternative to EXO.
Purchased Exo Ranger
I purchased a drone last year and the transmitter has broken. The LiveChat does not exist (tried 5 PCs with many browsers). I have also filled out many support emails with no responses. No phone associated with the company is being answered.
It appears that Exo drones has gone out of business and selling off their remaining stock. I would not send them any money!Cinemaster
Done does not work and I cannot reach anyone. Only get automated response. No way to call either. I now have a $800.00 paperweight. Very disappointed!
EXO Blackhawk 2 PRO
It is a scam, they took my money, sent me a drone that stopped working after 45 minutes and never replaced it. Although I paid EXO Care twice and send back the defective drone. Now I have nothing and they have above $1,500 of my money. What a scam.
Blackhawk 2 Pro
The drone broke after only a combined 45 minutes of flight, no crashing. Although I paid for the replacement as per the warranty and returned the drone, they failed to send me the replacement. They have apologized numerous times and promise to send expedited but they do not.
EXO RANGER PLUS
Purchased this drone with obstacle avoidance and when I unpacked the box NO obstacle avoidance part in the box. I’ve been trying to contact support for two days now and have yet to receive any response. I find this unacceptable and concerning.
I feel like I’ve been scammed into spending extra money for nothing. Looks like a bait and switch sales tactics. They often run “so called sales” for max discount for the first X number orders then when you place your order it gets bumped to a lower discount because the first X number has been reached. Scam
If you’re expecting ANY LEVEL OF SUPPORT FROM THIS COMPANY- FORGET IT!
Spend the extra $$ and purchase a drone from a REPUTABLE company that has a history of great service and prioritizes customer satisfaction.

I bought my first EXO blackhawk about 14 months ago. I had nothing but frustrations with it. Could never get the support staff to help me solve the issue. So finally after 6 months they decided to send me a replacement. This one was O.K for a couple of months but again I started to have serious issues again. They have not been able to tell me what the problem might be. I have no Live View screen anymore. I wanted to ship it to their Repair Shop to get it fixed but guess what: they no longer even have a repair shop. So now I am stuck with this piece of junk.
EXO Blackhawk Mini Pro
I read the Website for EXO and it said it was a USA company. I ordered a Mini Pro and found the drone is just a remake of the old Hubsan Mini Pro and has the same faults with overheating and bad stability. I contact support and found that EXO is using Hubsan support in China with limited contact which was the same support problems I had with Hubsan. I contacted support online and found the company return page did not work, redirect did not work and there was no way to return the drone with their system even though their policy was clear. I did use message chat to converse with someone who confirmed their system did not work. I am still waiting to get a RMA label to send this piece of junk back. I started my return the same day I got the drone! This is now 4 days that I get emails from 1 am until 3 am from China wanting me to keep the drone or order a better model. I am not happy with EXO and this is just a China knock off company which is a simple fraud just to sell cheap china products.
