    Exo Ranger 7X

    After sending requested description, pictures, and videos of defective drone, tech service refused to respond to request for warranty RMA. The drone/controller would not communicate. would not allow calibration or flight. I guess that (no communication) is SOP at EXO.
    Wrote a review on their web site, and guess what: they would not post it.
    Seems I now own a very expensive paperweight.

    Absolutely disappointed with the poor service from a company that supposedly prides on customer service.!!!
    Multiple text exchanged and many where ignored and I still have NOT RECEIVED IT
    Based on my experience, I would NOT recommend EXO Drones to any of my colleagues.
    I have had multiple text support messages since April 18 regarding the replacement using the Insurance that I purchased.
    Every time, I am told that they would "personally" take care of the issue.
    There has been no follow up emails or any type of message communications from the EXO company.
    he only reason I chose EXO drones, was because of the impressive marketing regarding customer service.
    Quite frankly, it is extremely Disappointing that EXO claims to deliver "excellent customer service for our North American
    customers"

    EXO Ranger Plus

    Obstacle Avoidance is near useless, drone won't move at all with it on. You can only use follow mode in optical mode, which is very very hard to get to turn on and stay on. Software is average at best and the camera is terrible. I went and replaced this with a DJI Mini 2, and the difference is night and day. Do yourself a favor, skip this company and drone, it's not worth it.

    I purchased a blackhawk from Exo (order 29034) and returned after 03 days of receiving due to lack of image transmission and for being a copy of Zino Pro Plus from Hubsan (which you can buy from half of the blackhawk price in amazon or adorama). Today, 18 days ago, I still haven't received my refund despite of doing several requests alreafy (Ticket #7848). Please EXO DRONES, do my refund.

    18 days? i called them on the phone and had a refund in while i was on the phone with them. it's the only thing they did right.

    X7 Ranger Plus and EXO Scout

    I purchased the X7 Ranger Plus and the Exo Scout, with an extra battery. They were delivered around the middle of December, however, upon inspection of the Scout, the extra battery I paid for was missing, and upon flying, the right joystick was sticky and was causing some flight issues. So I went to their website, tried to communicate on their joke of a chat support (funny how there is NO phone number listed anywhere) with some non-english speaker named whatever, and the email cycle began. I submitted the return form with pics twice, and supposedly they did not receive it. So I sent a direct email with pics. Now mind you, I am/have been VERY clear that I want to return the Scout drone in my previous 7 or 8 communications with them, because I was going to purchase another X7 Ranger Plus Red version, but now I will NOT purchase anything from them again, EVER! Buyer beware, they are great about the sale, but oh boy, after sale is a nightmare if you want customer service in my experience. I should have just listened to my peers when they recommended DJI, instead I wanted to save a few dollars, and well, this is what I get for that.

    Based on design and initial information, decided to give this company and their product a try. Ordering was simple, initial shipping was fairly quick, received package undamaged. Overall packaging and case were of good quality. This was my 7th drone, so I'm not new to flying these devices. Fully inspected drone, batteries were fully-charged, App downloaded, installed and connected on Samsung S21 Ultra. On first attempted flight (literally take-off, and basic operation at 5' above ground to test controls and responsiveness before landing), the drone would not land properly, began bouncing up and down inches above ground before randomly flying backward and was unresponsive to controller input until it struck an obstacle that dislodged the battery (thankfully). Tech Support was virtually non-existent and stated that the situation I described was impossible. I agree 100% that they are unskilled and my guess is that their only goal is to avoid admitting or accepting that their products are of inferior quality to other competitor's products. I remained respectful and tolerant of the insanely basic tasks they asked me to perform and report on, provided all requested information, photos, and documentation requests. Eventually (over several days of back and forth) my patience wore too thin, so rather than be willingly to accept a replacement, I demanded a refund. After receivig a prepaid shipping label, I carefully repacked all received items in the original bags and case, placed everything back into the original boxes and shipped it out. I did not receive any follow-up email stating the device had been received, no update to the status of my return, nothing. I had to initiate this communication after several weeks of silence...today, I was told the device is still being inspected. This was also the first I had heard of a 14-day inspection. I accept that the company needs to conduct these type inspections, however I am completely dissatisfied with this entire transaction. Still no expected date to complete the Refund. Would NOT recommend to anyone! Will do everything in my abilities to help others avoid this so-called business.

    EXO X7 Ranger PLUS - Obstacle Avoidance / Classic

    Package was received fast and undamaged, however as the other reviewer stated, customer service was unskilled, and difficult to work with. Drone was not functioning out of the box. One of the propellers simply was dead. It took 1.5hrs with online tech support downloading several apps to realize it needed to be returned. I sent it back with their label on November 10th. It is now November 27th and they still do not have it because they used the absolute cheapest method to have it returned. Tracking shows it has been in 12 different locations! Meanwhile they will not refund my money until they inspect this one. Which I sort of understand, However from my point of view, I paid for a broken drone on arrival and three weeks later they still have my funds and I now cannot purchase another drone in time for my sons event. Thanks for nothing.

    The drone is ok, but the company is terrible. I do not recommend this company. I bought the warranty that covers “everything “ and I was basically told to ... when I needed a replacement. I should have bought a DJI but the fancy advertising made me think EXO was legit. I use a drone for work and now I don’t have one. I’m ordering another X7 just so I can run this company down for as long as possible. I paid $36 for overnight shipping and I can tell by the way they have handled this situation that it was probably a waste of money. I’m sure it will still take several days because of their propensity for mediocrity.
