unbelievably soft, great color, neat edging, and the lower-case monogram somehow looked cozy and intentional. The recipient loved it, so I'm glad I ordered.
Held on forever, then surprise fix
I tried calling the NorthPark and Houston stores last week and honestly thought they weren’t open. Kept getting stuck on hold, switching from music to silence, no one answering counters or managers. I was this close to walking away — not enough time for a runaround. After a bit of stubbornness I tried corporate chat and a rep actually called me back and helped place the order. So yeah, annoying start, but ended up sorted. Still feels sloppy, but overall I'm glad it finally worked, for now.
Package went missing, basically
their claims process felt opaque and eager to dismiss evidence. Still, ordering was easy, just disappointing on follow-through and slow.
Half-good jacket, half-bad return run
customer support couldn't send a return label or fix my account so my order didn't show up. They cheerfully offered to point me to a store — like that's helpful — so I ended up driving back and forth. I've had better return setups with other shops. Not perfect, I still like the jacket, but the whole process was annoying.
Single wear, big letdown
Overall, I’d skip buying a pricey jacket from their store. I grabbed an Alexander McQueen coat for work and commuting — wanted something sharp for meetings — but it was the wrong shade and only got one outing. After that single wear I noticed a sweat mark on the underarm and some of the button’s finish flaked off. For over $2k that felt like a punch. Store said it’s non-returnable because of the "damage." It’s not all broken, it looks fine now for casual use, but I’m done shopping there.
The refund finally showed up
looked nicer online than in my living room. I wore it ten minutes and knew it wasn’t for me, so I sent it back. I waited. And waited. Almost a month later I called and the rep swore the refund was done. My bank said nope. I kept refreshing the app like it was a plant that needed water. After one more call and a bit of stubbornness the money popped in. That’s when I actually felt satisfied — relief, and yeah, a tiny victory smile.
Felt talked down
I’m not going back — their help made a five-minute makeup fix feel like a performance review. I needed a gentle foundation after a weird allergic reaction (big date, big stress), so I called to ask for advice. The person I talked to was flat and kind of condescending on the phone, which surprised me — I mean, it’s makeup, not a court case. Product maybe fine, but the vibe ruined it. I’ll shop where folks actually care. Slight silver lining: the tester smelled nice, ha — small comfort.
Finally a bra that actually helps
I bought two of the same luxe bra because my crappy old ones were giving me back pain and I wanted proper support. The bra itself is actually lovely — nice hold, soft cups, straps don't dig, feels solid under a shirt. I mailed the duplicate back, still sealed, and got hit with an accusation over the phone that I’d worn it. That was stressful. After pushing a bit, another rep fixed it and the refund showed up. Not flawless service, but overall relieved and happy with the fit.
Still checking every morning
call early and ask for a refund if they stall. Emails didn't help me — I probably won't order again.
Ghosted tracking, slow help
supposed to get a package, waited six days past the delivery date watching the status stuck on "in transit," then FedEx says it's lost. Customer service felt like a loop; reps kept telling me to wait, the supervisor said the same thing, and my emails didn't move things at first. They offered a $50 apology but the initial refund came back without that credit, which felt like a slap in the face. After more calls and a pushy follow-up I did finally get the $50 and the rest refunded. For a big-name store this was disappointing. Not great service, messy delivery, but eventually sorted—barely.
Big box, tiny win
snap photos right away and maybe buy in store if you can. Still thankful the scents were nice, at least.
Shadowed in the purple section
We were halfway down the Purple Brand rack when I noticed the woman had been trailing us for a while. My son was turning sixteen, loaded with gift cards and trying on hoodies, and it felt off. I flagged an employee and the moment I actually felt satisfied came when they stepped in, listened to what I said, and then let us shop without being watched. They rang up the hoodie cleanly, accepted the gift cards, and kept it low-key — not dramatic, just handled. I’ve had other stores ignore weird stuff, so that quick, respectful fix is what made me feel okay. Not perfect, still odd, but relieved.
Fabric felt fine
Halfway through the return I realized the jacket felt brand-new — the lining was still crisp, no wear on the cuffs — and that made the whole thing seem wrong. I first saw it at Roosevelt Field Mall and even tipped a coworker to try it on. It’s a comfortable, slightly heavy piece, neat stitching, pockets are actually deep, and it washed without shrinking, which surprised me. Staff, however, accused me of sending back worn stuff; the interaction was blunt and felt biased. I’ve been back and forth for over a month, different departments saying the same thing, no fix. Be cautious.
The in-store fix that mattered
the clerk pulled up my order, printed a return, and said they'd process it without the $9.95 return-label fee. Not perfect — I had to drive there — but the in-person fix was quick, professional, and honest. After a shaky start that human touch made me satisfied.
Nice product, rigid returns
I was midway through my months of recovery when I finally opened the shoes — the leather felt nice, kind of substantial, not flimsy. Tried to slide them on once I could hobble around; they fit well and looked like the photos. Problem was, between emergency foot surgery, another operation, and long rehab I couldn’t get them back within thirty days. I asked for an exception after all that and customer service politely recited policy — no wiggle room. Other retailers gave a one-time pass; this one didn’t. Mildly disappointed, because the shoes themselves were really nice.
Nice look, rough finish
a stiff strap that pinches the foot, a seam that rubs, edges that aren't smooth. For something tagged north of $800 I expected leather that softened and little details that felt intentional. Instead it felt hurried, like a sample shoved out the door. I’ve been using them for dinners and quick errands, so comfort and polish matter, and these just don’t give that confident, refined vibe. Packing and prep looked pretty automatic.
One smudge, one headache
be persistent, keep receipts, and don’t assume it’s lost forever.
Jacket felt good, process did not
I put the Prada denim on the first cool morning after it arrived — heavier than I expected, shoulders were structured and the inside was kind of soft, outer denim a bit stiff. Loved the look, tried it on around the block once and realized the fit wasn’t quite right, so I used the Neiman Marcus return label they sent. Tracking shows the return was delivered over a week ago, but no refund yet. I called customer service a couple times; they didn’t seem to have the return in their system and kept saying their fulfillment partner needs time to process it. I mean, I bought it from NM, so it’s odd they don’t take ownership. Kinda disappointing, I’ll probably go direct to the brand next time.
Fine stuff, poor follow-through
The clothes themselves were actually nice — decent fabric, seams felt solid, fit as expected — nothing flashy, just good. I bought three pieces for about $1,110 and never even got back to wearing them much because of two surgeries and months of rehab. I missed their 30-day return window for obvious reasons; tried to explain that to customer service. Their reps stuck to policy like a script, robotic, no real flexibility. One rep even said no one else could help and hung up. So yeah, product feels fine and would have worked, but being stuck with it is frustrating. I’ve shopped there for years and mostly had better experiences; this one left me annoyed and a bit betrayed.
Four cancellations, quick refund
the charge reversal came through pretty quickly and the website was actually easy to use (odd bright spot). But needing stuff for school and having to keep reordering was a waste of time. I won't use them for gifts anymore.

Designer dress
The selection at Neiman Marcus is super fancy, but the prices are just way too high. I recently bought a designer dress for a special event, and even though the quality was grea... Read onBy: concepcion
