The smart sprinkler system has seriously made my life way easier. So, my sprinkler guy suggested this thing to me, but honestly, I'm not too thrilled with it. Trying to set up a custom watering schedule manually is a real pain because it doesn't save the minutes per zone, which means I have to put them in every single time. And the fact that there's no "save" button on that page drives me nuts. I'm all about conserving water, so my golden rule is to water only when absolutely necessary. But with this system, I have to keep plugging in the minutes for each zone on every run. It's a total waste of time and not very efficient. And don't even get me started on the suggested watering times for clay soil and 8 hours of sunlight - they seem way off.

The sprinkler system that came with my house when I bought it has been a real pain. I spent a whole day trying to figure it out at first, but I could only use it manually. Then, one day the power went out for a few hours and the system completely stopped working. After spending another day trying to fix it, the company finally said they'd send me a new one. It's nice of them to do that, but now I have to pay an electrician to put it in. It's gonna take time and effort to get it running again. I just want an easy way to water my lawn, but instead, I've got all these problems.
