Review about: Totally Furniture
Bunk beds
I ordered bunk beds which shipped in 7 boxes. All 7 were damaged upon arrival, 3 of which were open with parts falling out and 1 with visible damage to the furniture itself. We refused the delivery. Upon reaching out to Totally Furniture we were told by our claim representative Christine that “the best and quickest resolution is to have this shipment redelivered and you accept the delivery and just indicate “box is damaged” on the delivery ticket and we will gladly order replacement boxes for anything that is damaged. From what we can see at this point only one part for the footboard/headboard has damage to it.”
Really?! I’m supposed to just accept 7 damaged boxes and hope it’s only the 1 piece that’s broken? And that no pieces have been lost from the 3 open boxes?! Absolutely not.
I told them I wanted a full refund. They refunded the cost of the furniture but not the $160 shipping cost. Again I was on the phone with Christine who was incredibly rude. She kept repeating that she had advised that I accept the delivery. When I told her I was dissatisfied she just kept talking over me. Finally I had to say her name 4 times to get her to stop talking. At this point I told her that if she was not refunding the shipping cost then the conversation did not need to continue and hung up.
I’ve never experienced such rude or poor customer service.
