Bought a Fleischmann N scale BR 103 locomotive listed as NOT RUNNING SOLD AS IS
The folks at Trainz were very responsive. This item was listed as Not Running, Sold As Is. It turns out that there was a defect in the motor board. The repair of the board, a good cleaning, new tires, a little oil, and a Digitrax decoder and she runs fine. Originally I only wanted the loco's shell as it appeared to be in very good condition. I wanted to replace my original BR 103 shell because it had been dropped several times.
This loco is almost new and I am very pleased with it and Trainz. I'll keep looking for more deals!
