Review about: Blueland
Laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent
They both seemed okay at first, but after awhile we noticed that there was a musty smell coming from the dishwasher, which hadn't been present before. The only reason I bough the Blueland tabs was because our regular dishwasher powder (i.e., Ecover) was out of stock everywhere. Cleaned out the trap in the dishwasher and I have NEVER seen it that dirty before. Disgusting. We also noticed that our clothes didn't seem particularly fresh anymore, and the laundry tablets do NOT dissolve in cold or cool water (which is what we usually use). I had to actually dissolve the tablet in hot water for 10 minutes before starting the washing machine. Maybe the lack of cleaning power had something to do with the fact that we have hard water, but the detergent we were using before (i.e., TruEarth) cleaned our clothes just fine. (TruEarth has PVA, which is basically tiny plastic particles, which kind of defeats the "no plastic" claim they offer.) Blueland is not particularly inexpensive, so we will NOT be purchasing there products again.
