    Condenser unit.

    My 82 year old Mom bought a unit from ecomfort.com less than 5 years ago. It had it's first failure after 3 years. A compressor. The repair cost for everything but the compressor itself. Was paid by her. The second failure. A condenser coil failure. Happened a couple of months ago. We have been trying to get ecomfort.com to honor the warranty. And repair or replace the unit. They have been giving us the runaround for almost 2 months now. Mike and Stephanie of customer service are the two that we have dealt with. Their game is to give you bogus numbers to call for support. And to keep you on hold all day. This was the experience of 2 different HVAC companies we hired to verified the failure. At ecomforts request. Ecomfort will simply not communicate with anyone, period. They constantly play shadow games with you in emails. The will not pick up a telephone and correct an issue for any reason. My Mom is 82 years old and on Oxygen. It has been over 100 degrees here for the last few days. Forecasting much more of the same. ECOMFORT.COM is a SCAM company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They have no customer service. Just a couple of people that will keep you jumping through hoops. Thank goodness for the folks at Discover. A CC chargeback is our only recourse at this point. So be it.
