Duck breast purchase during a flash sale
I bought some duck breast on sale recently, hoping to have a fancy dinner without spending too much. But when I cooked it, I realized it was tough and bitter. I reached out to the company by email and gave them the product numbers to let them know there might be a problem. The response I got was surprising - they said the duck breast had been delivered a few months ago and had been frozen for too long, which affected the taste. They also said I couldn't return it since too much time had passed, which I understood and didn't argue with. What really got me was that I noticed I was removed from their email list soon after this, so I didn't get any updates on sales or promotions. It felt like they were being unfair and it was kind of upsetting as a loyal customer. Even though there are other places to buy gourmet food, this move seemed a little mean and like they didn't care about their customers.
