Pomegranates
I purchased a box of red pomegranates as show in the box in the photos. What arrived was a box of yellowed pomegranates with yellow, slimy seeds and mold around the edges. All of them were like this and the box smelled like rotten fruit. I sent two e-mails that went unanswered then several days later was able to connect with them via "chat" It was escalated to the supervisor who sent this message:
Hi! We did send over the photos of the pomegranates to our supervisors as they do not look like they are damaged as the yellow is normal for this variety! The seeds should be the only part eaten from this fruit!
Really? Even if the yellow coloring for the outside is normal the inside should have juicy, robust seeds. They have since changed the description to "White Pomegranates" on the website but red or white they should be edible!
