To Sharon: if you had your dog tested for Heartworm @ a vet, then you need to coordinate treatment with a vet. Nothing sold anywhere on the web is for laypeople to treat heartworws once your dog is infected. Left untreated by a veterinarian your dog will die.
To be clear: Heartworws live in bloodstream & adult worms live & grow in the heart. This is completely different from other internal parasites that live in the intestines.
