Love the STS Plate Carrier
I went back and forth for weeks after deciding to upgrade my PC and I'm extremely happy with my choice. It's a mid range step up and it definitely shows the usual signs of being manufactured abroad but, that being said, when it comes to getting ... for your buck, you wont be disappointed. I was confident this PC would simply be a stepping stone to getting g a 2.0 Elite or even a 3.0, but after owning it and rigging it up, I'm in absolutely no hurry to upgrade.
Only thing I had issues with, were the shoulder straps. Not the comfort, but they come incredibly and uselessly long. You will basically end up almost overlapping the rear, mid, and front pads when you shorten it up. Even being 6'4", I had to shorten them all the way and the excess strapping was so long I could tuck it into the rear plate molle. So to get it high enough to clear my belt and to get the cummerbund up enough for a clean pistol draw was certainly an interesting task.
Outside of that, awesome!!!
