I had booked a night at a hotel, and it was a total nightmare because they called to tell me they were full even after I had already paid. Now I have to figure out how to get my money back and find another place to stay all because of a mistake on the booking website. It's such a frustrating and disappointing situation.
Perfect website
I absolutely love this website! It's super easy to find incredible destinations and the hotels are top-of-the-line. I booked a holiday recently and got my confirmation right away, everything was just perfect. SE is seriously the best!
Sri Lanka holiday experience
I had a great time with Secret Escapes on my recent trip to Sri Lanka, despite a few bumps in the road. At first, there were some unexpected changes to our hotel reservation, which was a bummer. But thanks to Rachel in customer service, we were able to stick with our original booking. The hotel wasn't flawless, but the amazing views, lovely beach, helpful staff, and perfect location made up for any issues. The excursions organized by Secret Escapes were a nice bonus and really enhanced the whole trip.
UK hotel booking
Hey, guess what! I found this awesome deal for a one-night stay at a hotel in the UK on Secret Escapes. They had such a great selection of rooms and dining choices, it was super simple for me to pick out the perfect little escape. And get this - the price was way cheaper than if I had booked directly through the hotel's site. The whole booking process was quick and easy, and I got confirmation right away. I mean, who wouldn't love that kind of convenience and saving some cash at the same time?
Costa rica
True COVID all flights were cancelled, we informed secretescapes one month before that we can not fly out . Since 2-1/2 months we have called them 9 times, sent 15 emails and still no answer whether we can rebook or get a refund. We are $6,500 into this and our hard saved money is up in the air, we are still fightinh for it but would never recommend this company
