Monthly subscription for finding a mate
I tried out a monthly subscription in hopes of finding a partner, but it turned out to be a waste of my time. I didn't even get one match. Every profile seemed sketchy or not what I was looking for. It seemed like a scam, just a way to get you to spend more money on trips, gifts, events, or memberships. I noticed a pattern where most people on the platform didn't like kids or were against marriage after only a year or two of dating. Adding to that, if you try to contact someone, they usually won't even respond. It felt like the profiles were all hand-picked to only showcase the "best" people, making it really hard to actually connect with someone real.
Disappointing search results
I was hopeful about trying out this platform at first, but it ended up being a letdown. When I searched, I kept seeing the same profiles over and over, even though I wasn't interested. The website was messy and hard to use, with pop-ups distracting me from reading profiles. There are other free platforms out there that are better quality and easier to use. In the end, I was disappointed with this platform and wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

The online matchmaking service I tried out seemed to be getting folks from India to make fake accounts and conversations. It was kind of a bummer to figure out that the matches I was getting weren't real and that they weren't big on using video chat. Plus, the bad grammar in the profiles was a definite warning sign. All in all, my time with this service wasn't as real as I was expecting.

If you're wanting a good laugh or a lesson on how to spot a scam, you should definitely take a look at this site. Those 'dating experts' are most likely just some guy chilling in his mom's basement, choosing 'special matches' for you without any real criteria. The messages from these 'guys' are so crazy, you'll start to question if they're even real or just bots programmed to be absurd. And don't even get me started on the photos - they all look like they just walked out of jail. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place.
Subscription purchase
My experience with this subscription service really didn't go as planned. They were kind of shady in the way they pressured me into signing up, and it felt like they were tricking me. Once I was in, getting help from customer service was a joke, and forget about getting my money back. It just seemed like there were a bunch of scammers on the site, and they weren't upfront about anything, which just made things worse. I wish I had checked reviews before I went ahead and bought something from them.

Be cautious of those sneaky upgrade boxes that can surprise you with unexpected charges on your account. Don't be fooled by the so-called cooling off period - charges may start piling up after just one month, even if you delete your profile. There are tons of fake and inactive profiles out there, some of which haven't been used in ages. Just a heads up - be a smart shopper!
Subscription cancellation issue
I've been trying to cancel my subscription a bunch of times, but the link never seems to work. And when I tried reaching out to customer support, I didn't get any response. I mean, Match is cool for dating and all, but not being able to cancel my subscription is a huge downside. Even my friends had the same issue, so we're all saying goodbye to this service.
