Avocados, citrus, olive oil brownies
I got some avocados, citrus, and those amazing olive oil brownies from Frog Hollow Farm. They were all super fresh, delicious, and came in really good packaging. I had them sent to two addresses on the East Coast from California, and everything arrived in perfect shape - not just once, but twice! Their website is easy to use, so ordering was a breeze. Plus, the shipping updates were on time and really useful. I definitely recommend Frog Hollow Farm!
Cherries, peaches, pears, gift
I just bought some cherries, peaches, and pears from this farm. The prices were a bit high, but man, the fruit was so top-notch. Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. I even shared it with a buddy, and they loved it too.
Cali red peaches
Last summer, I ordered some Cali red peaches from this farm, and when they showed up at my place, they were all squished up and gross. I let them know, and all they did was toss me a dumb gift card instead of refunding my cash. Fast forward to this year, I used that gift card to snag some Cara Cara oranges, and let me tell you, they tasted like straight-up old socks. So dry and not sweet in the slightest. Just ew.
Rotten fruit subscription
The fruit subscription service at this place is a total disaster. I signed up without checking things out first, and man, do I regret it. The fruit I got was completely rotten and I couldn't even eat it. When I tried to cancel, customer service was no help at all and wouldn't work with me. This company is definitely sketchy and I'd recommend avoiding it at all costs.
Pumpkin pie purchase
I bought a pumpkin pie from Frog Hollow Farm not too long ago, but I gotta be honest - it was pretty disappointing. Honestly, it was just mediocre and didn't live up to what I was hoping for. And to make things worse, the price was way too high considering the quality I got.
Purchased peaches in June '23
The peaches I got from this farm were such a letdown, I couldn't believe it. I waited forever for my order only to end up with a box of tiny, wrinkly peaches that were totally gross. They didn't taste fresh at all, they had this awful freezer-burnt taste. It was obvious to me that they were picked before they were ripe and frozen before they even sent them to me. And to top it off, I ordered passionfruit before and it arrived all moldy. They said they would replace it, but I never got anything. Overall, my experience with this farm was a huge bummer and I won't be buying from them again.
Fruit box purchase
I'm a customer at Frog Hollow Farm and recently I bought a fruit box for a friend's birthday. But man, it was a bummer when the fruit showed up all green and never ripened, even after a few days. It's a letdown since the whole point of sending fruit as a gift is to give something fresh and tasty. And to top it off, they don't even do refunds, even if the fruit is inedible! That's just not cool for a company that brags about having top-notch products and customer service.
