Black sleeveless dress
Let me tell you about Ivy City, where dreams really do come true. So, I recently got this amazing black sleeveless dress from them and let me tell you, it was exactly what I needed to make a statement at a recent event. The material was top-notch, none of that cheap stuff you find at other fast fashion places. As a curvy woman, I loved seeing the inclusive models and videos showing how the dress would actually look on my body. No more guesswork, just pure confidence. Plus, the dress arrived super fast and it was beautifully packaged - it's clear that Ivy City really cares about their customers. Dress purchase
I picked up a dress from Ivy City recently and I have to say I was pretty happy with the whole thing. What stood out to me was how inclusive the brand is, and the dress I got was really top-notch quality. I'm not always big on modesty in my wardrobe, but I like that Ivy City offers a range of styles. Their natural fabric dresses with smocking are a personal fave because they're comfy and on-trend. The prices are fair for what you get, but a little steep for my current budget. Still, I splurged on a fancier dress from Ivy City for a special event and it was totally worth it. Got a ton of compliments on it, it was just lovely.
Two dresses purchased
The dresses I got were just so great! They made me feel really good, like confident and comfy, and they just brought me a lot of happiness. And the packaging was really nice too, which I thought was a nice little extra touch. But, I was a little bummed because there was this one dress I really wanted to try, but it never came back in stock. Some of the stuff is a little expensive for me, but I always try to catch a sale for a good deal. In general, I think they've got some awesome products, and I've definitely told my family and friends about them.
Kids' coats purchase
My experience with Ivy City was a letdown. I bought some coats for kids, but they weren't as good as I had hoped. Trying to return them was a total mess. Ivy City said they had an easy Happy Returns system, but that wasn't true at all. I had to go to FedEx, only to find out the Happy Returns Code didn't work. When I reached out to Happy Returns, I found out that Ivy City wasn't really using their service like they said. Instead, they were doing a Standard Return process and charging a 12% restocking fee. This meant I had to mail the coats back or bring them in person, with no option for a quick refund. It was frustrating and confusing, especially considering how poor the quality of the coats was.
Overpriced dress
I just got the dress I ordered from this company and I have to say, I am super bummed. The fabric is not good quality at all and it honestly looks like something I could have snagged from a cheap mall store. And when I tried to send it back, they said no way. Definitely do yourself a favor and read some reviews before you buy from this place. You'll thank me later! Save your cash and find somewhere else to shop.
Overpriced dresses with quality issues
This website is such a joke. I thought I was being smart by ordering two dresses from overseas, hoping they'd be nice and fancy. But man, was I way off. The first dress I got had ink marks all over it and a big rip in the middle. When I tried to get a refund, the customer service folks made me feel like I was bothering them. They were so rude and condescending. The second dress was no better - one shoulder was way puffier than the other. And let's not even talk about the prices. These dresses are definitely not worth what I paid. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this website.
