Online purchase during sales
I just wanted to share my recent online shopping experience with you all. I snagged some great deals during a sale, but ran into some problems with my order. Luckily, the customer service team was super helpful and sorted everything out in no time. One of my packages got lost by the courier in the UK, but Lime Crime didn't bat an eye and sent me a replacement right away. And when I realized one item was missing from my original shipment, they didn't waste any time and had it on its way to me the very next day. I was seriously impressed by how fast they responded to my emails and the quality of the products I got. A+ for customer service!
Fast delivery to UK
At first, I was kinda iffy about buying from this place because I saw some bad reviews, but after digging deeper, I realized most of them were old. I decided to go for it during their Black Friday sale and placed an order. Surprisingly, my package arrived in just a little over 2 weeks, which is pretty good for the holiday rush. They shipped it out quickly, and I could track it the whole way. The lipsticks I got were packaged in a cute little box and were exactly what I was looking for. I think I'll stick with buying directly from them in the future since they have a bigger variety of shades that are hard to find in the UK.

I ordered the Diamond Dew eyeshadow recently and omg, the packaging was amazing! The pink background with red roses and bright green stems really caught my attention. Opening the package, I was blown away by how gorgeous everything looked. The eyeshadow itself is like a piece of art, sparkling in a beautiful color unlike any other. Plus, the bottle it comes in is so unique, adding some extra pizazz to the whole thing. My only issue is that it's not waterproof - like seriously, who wants their fab eyeshadow melting off on a hot day? Fingers crossed they make this glittery gem waterproof in the future!
lipstick with mark and hair
I received this lipstick in the mail and when I opened it, there was a big, gross mark on it and what I think is a hair stuck in the lipstick. Ugh, so gross and disappointing! I was really looking forward to trying it out and now I can't even use it.
Recent makeup purchase
I don't get why some folks have such a bad view of this brand. Every time I buy something, it's been nothing but good vibes. The stuff they make is top-notch, and the way it's packaged is just gorgeous. I swear by their Plushies and Velvetines lipsticks - they're so comfy to wear and they stay on for hours. And the cherry on top? They're cruelty-free, which is a big deal for me.
Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free eyeshadow!
I really love the eyeshadows from this brand, they are seriously amazing! I feel great knowing that I'm supporting a brand that's vegan, woman-owned, and indie. Shopping with smaller online labels like this is totally my thing! It's so important to me to support small businesses and cruelty-free products. I feel like I'm actually making a difference with my purchases. The website is super user-friendly and the live chat feature is so useful. And the fact that they accept PayPal is a big bonus for me!
Amazing Customer Service
Oh my gosh, I had such a big issue with my order! I totally screwed up the shipping choice when I was checking out, and then the post office totally messed up my package and sent it back! But the customer service team was incredibly nice and quick in helping me fix everything! They canceled my wrong order so fast and immediately sent out my correct one. I was so surprised at how great they were! Thanks for coming to the rescue, you guys are the best!! 💖🖤
Online purchase of makeup products
I had a really great experience with customer service recently. I had a problem with my delivery, but after dealing with some issues from another company, I decided to try the online chat support. Emma, the representative who helped me out, was super friendly and quick to fix the problem. She sent out a replacement parcel right away, no questions asked. I was really impressed with how efficient and nice the customer service team at this online store is.
Liquid Lips
Oh my gosh, I am totally in love with their liquid lips, especially the Velvetines! They are seriously the bomb. And I'm totally digging the whole "unicorn" vibe they've got, it's just so rad and different. The customer service team is seriously the best, they're so nice and friendly but also really on top of things. This company is legit my favorite and I can't wait to see what new things they come out with!
Venus palettes
I just got the Venus palettes and let me tell you, they are amazing! The colors are gorgeous, super pigmented, and the packaging is so pretty. But, I did have a little problem with the mirror inside the Venus II palette - it broke after just a week. I think it was my fault since I was lugging it around in my bag. Even with that issue, I still think these palettes are top-notch and totally worth it.
Lipstick purchase
Really, has anyone else noticed how slow and expensive the shipping is? It's almost like they want to torture you while you wait for your stuff to show up. I ordered two lipsticks and thought $5.95 for shipping was fair, but boy was I wrong. It took a whopping 2 weeks for my package to go from their warehouse in CA to me in DC. That's just not cool nowadays. I got a shipping notification a day after I ordered, so I was pumped, but that excitement faded fast when I realized they use some strange shipping method that just drags things out even longer. And don't even get me started on the $19 priority shipping option - seriously? For two lipsticks? It's like they're taking advantage of our impatience. Take my word for it, save your cash and stick with regular shipping or USPS.
Favorite cosmetic brand
LC is my favorite for makeup, seriously! I've bought a bunch of stuff from them and only had one problem, but it wasn't even their fault (darn post office). They were super quick about fixing it though, they sent me a replacement right away. I know I can count on the quality of their makeup and brushes, so they're my go-to for anything from eye shadows to brushes.
