Laura kaftan maxi dress
I received my first order from Pax Philomena and I couldn’t be happier. 5 years ago I moved from UK to New York. Since then I’ve been looking a summer dress, light enough for hot New York summers, but not see through or flimsy. I think I’ve finally discovered the holy grail of dresses to wear in a hot weather. The dress itself is very flattering regardless of your size. Recently I had an operation on my foot and was unable to wear trousers and this dress was fantastic. You can dress it up or down.
Regarding service, my purchase arrived earlier than I thought it would. Included within were a personal note from the founder, swatches, magazine articles and Pax Philomena magazine. I’m looking forward to expanding my collection.Kamila - I am thrilled that you love your Pax Philomena Laura ... kaftan which is indeed the holy grail of dresses for hot weather! We care about each and every one of our Pax patrons and can imagine you walking the streets of NY in our dress, spreading smiles and PAX! We look forward to you coming back for more!

Pax is a brand I have been buying for about 8 years.The clothes were gorgious, there was nothing on the market like it. I have seen the company grow to to include so much more than tops and kaftans. I sincerely recomment Pax Philomena. The prints, the colors, and comfort of the clothing is out standing. Each piece is a work of art. These clothes make you feel good about yourself. The owner is a beautiful woman who donates regularly to Mother Teresa charities. While she is a size 4, I am a 2X. The kaftans look great regardles of your size and the comfort is amazing. Absolutly DO follow care instructions!. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to offer plus sizes in the pajamas. I love them, but the XL is just not big enough for a 2X.

Regarding your comment on PJ sizing, we now have some of our PJ's in a size 2X. We want to be size inclusive so we hope you will try them out! We also have some tunics now in 3 and 4X so please do check them out! We hope that you will be adding to your Pax Philomena collection again soon, despite that fact that you have so many of our pieces already. Indeed it is like collecting art! When you find an artist you love, you just can't get enough!

I love colorful textiles and am mindful about the source from which I purchase my clothes. I was excited to receive my La Scala Maxi kaftan and, when I opened the package, out fell two copies of the magazine pages in which the Pax Philomena dresses have been featured, a lovely handwritten note by Jean Marie, a swatch of red fabric, a catalog, and my dress. There was so much love in how everything was arranged and it also transpired genuine pride in the brand and what it stands for. I like these personal touches, lost in all the commercialism of fast fashion, and the care with which my kaftan was made (I received a couple of compliments when I wore it yesterday for the first time). I will definitely buy more dresses from Pax Philomena.

I personally am thrilled to know that the love that I put into this product was transmitted to you when you received it. Indeed in this age of fast fashion, we are swimming up stream but there are people like you who appreciate what we do. We are helping to keep alive the art of block printing and are proud to do so. I am not surprised that you have received compliments, it is something you will need to get used to when you wear Pax Philomena! Thanks again for your patronage!

I bought the Swansong, Neela Amer and the Olivia maxi. I love them so much. I plan on buying a lot more in time.
