We had a flight canceled recently, which made us miss our first night at a hotel we booked through this travel company. Even though we told them about the cancellation and their policy said we would only have to pay for one night, they charged us for the whole stay. Dealing with both the hotel and the travel company to fix this was frustrating, especially since we got conflicting info and ended up being charged more than we were supposed to.
Flight booking experience
My experience with this company really bummed me out. The agents were not helpful at all and seemed pretty shady. So when I tried to get a credit for a flight that got cancelled during the whole Covid mess, it was a major headache. And on top of that, the ticket ended up costing me way more than if I had just booked directly with the airline. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest using this company to book any travel.
Flight booking
I just gotta say, my experience with the travel booking platform was a total nightmare. I bought a flight ticket and had to change it, which led to a credit that I wanted to use for a new booking. But man, using that credit was a real pain. I tried calling multiple times to talk to a real person, but it was like hitting a brick wall. Even with the insurance I had, I still ended up spending way more money and time than I thought I would. The website didn't help at all, making everything just super frustrating and annoying. I definitely won't be using that platform again in the future, that's for sure.
Double booked trip
Oh my goodness, I can't believe I ended up booking the same trip twice by accident! And let me tell you, Travelocity was absolutely no help at all. They didn't even stick to their own rules when it came to charges. What a complete disaster!
Round trip booking for four seniors
Booking a round trip flight for four seniors through this company was a complete nightmare. First off, we had to cancel our departing flight because of a schedule change. But guess what? Travelocity wouldn't cancel our return flight or give us a refund. We lost a ton of money because they just wouldn't budge or help us out at all. It's pretty obvious that they don't care about helping you once they have your money. I suggest anyone thinking about booking with this company to reconsider and just go straight to the airline.
Flight ticket purchase
When you're looking to book flights, I suggest steering clear of those third-party companies. I made the mistake of using one for my last trip and let me tell you, it was nothing but a headache. Dealing with their rules and customer service was downright frustrating. When problems came up, all I got was excuses and they kept sending me to the airline instead of helping me out. Save yourself the trouble and book straight through the airline or use a trusted search engine like Google for all your travel stuff.
Expensive and frustrating booking experience
That was definitely the worst booking experience I've ever had! It was such a hassle trying to talk to an actual person, and the AI system was completely unhelpful. I felt like I was going around in circles with no way out. It's crazy that I had to give every tiny detail about my flight just to get some help. On top of all that, this service was way more expensive than other platforms I've used before. I'm so frustrated and will definitely not be using this service again.
Flight cancellation incident
I recently had a really bad experience with my travel booking that ended up costing me extra money. My flight got canceled because of bad weather, so I was stuck in Miami. I tried to change my car rental pick-up spot from MCO to MIA, or maybe even get a car for the drive from Miami to MCO, but the person I talked to ended up canceling my entire rental booking. They said I wouldn't get charged again, but that just caused me a lot of problems and I had to pay way more to book a new rental car for the week. On top of that, I still got billed for the first rental because it was within 6 hours of when I booked it. I don't travel much, so this whole situation really made me feel let down and annoyed.
Travel booking experience
The company needs to do a better job of clearly showing prices in US dollars, providing refunds for travel insurance when flights get cancelled, and keeping customers informed when airlines cancel flights. In my case, I had to constantly call for updates, rebook flights through the airline, and wait a whole week for a refund. If I had just booked directly with the airline, I could have easily used my credit without having to pay extra. Dealing with this third party was just way too stressful and inconvenient, so I definitely won't be using them again.
Car booking mishap
I had a really frustrating experience trying to book a car through a travel website recently. When I made the reservation, I was shocked to find out that there were no cars available. On top of that, I had a hard time trying to book another way to get to where I needed to go. Then, to make things even worse, I later found out that the airport was actually 500 miles away from my hotel, which was a mistake that could have cost me a lot if I didn't fix it within 24 hours. This is something I've never had happen with other travel websites before. Because of all this, I had to cancel both my hotel and flight reservations, which just caused me a lot of unnecessary stress and frustration.
Flight booking
I used this service to book a flight recently and man, let me tell you, I was so disappointed with their customer service. When I needed help with my return flight, they were no help at all. They just pointed fingers at the airline. But when I called the airline myself, they were able to help me right away. So yeah, I'm definitely gonna start booking flights directly with airlines from now on. No more dealing with this service or any of its partners.
Flight refund policy deception
My recent experience with the flight refund policy at this company was really disappointing. I booked a flight through them, but later found out they didn't tell me everything about their policy regarding duplicate flights. When I asked for a refund for one of the flights, they said I could only cancel and get a credit, which I didn't know before. The person I talked to didn't tell me this from the start, so I felt tricked and annoyed. Now I have a credit that I can't really use because it has to be for the same flight with the same people. Overall, I'm really unhappy with how they handled this and I think it was kind of sneaky of them.
Flight change fee
I had to change my flight today, and let me tell you, it was a huge mistake! I only wanted to make a small adjustment, but when I tried to do that on Travelocity, they hit me with a massive fee of over four grand! Can you believe that?! Seriously, I was shocked. When I questioned them about it, they tried to blame Delta, but I don't think that's how it works. Travelocity could have helped me, but all they cared about was getting my money. It's really not cool, man.
It's pretty shady how they conduct their business. We just want to travel and enjoy ourselves, and they pull this kind of thing? Not cool at all, Travelocity, not cool. I used to think you were reliable because you're part of Expedia, but now I'm not sure who to trust. It's a real disappointment.
So, learn from my mistake, folks. Be careful of hidden fees when booking with them. Protect your money and your sanity!A Great Experience for All Your Travel Needs
I have been a client of Travelocity for several years now and I have always had a great experience with the company. The website is easy to navigate and I am able to find the best deals on flights, hotels, and rental cars quickly. The customer service team is also very helpful and responsive when I have had any questions or issues.
One of the things I appreciate most about Travelocity is the variety of options they have available. I am able to compare prices and amenities across different airlines, hotels, and rental car companies, which makes it easy to find the perfect option for my needs and budget. I also love the flexibility they offer when it comes to booking and modifying reservations.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the services that Travelocity provides and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to plan a trip.
