I just experienced the worse situation with Big Apple Collectables. I placed a preorder on October 2nd with a shipment date in December. Now, I didn't see the shipment date at first but I was okay with waiting. When January rolled around I decided to reach out. The "new" owner, Paul, reached out and apologized, stating the shipment would go out soon. When I asked for a more approximate date, Paul replied in a "week or two." I told him if it was going to take longer, I did not want to wait and would rather receive a refund because I see the exact same items on Amazon and in the stores. He told me that the items will ship shortly and he apologized. Now it is February and I still have not received my items. When I reached out, they told me the items could be sent rapidly but I was more concerned that if my items could've been shipped rapidly, why they weren't sent already? I asked for a refund and they told me I would have to pay a 25% cancellation fee. I had to pay a fee for wanting my money back from an order that was placed over 4 months ago. This company over promises to under deliver and I will never order from them again. I advise all to choose a different company to go with!
