    Subscription box review

    I signed up for a subscription box service not too long ago, and man, I gotta tell you, I was really let down by the customer service. I paid for my December box, but it never showed up. When I tried to get in touch to figure out what was going on, my emails got straight up ignored. And when I tried calling, nobody picked up the phone. It's just not cool to leave a paying customer hanging like that. And on top of that, the samples in the Birchbox were pretty disappointing. Compared to other boxes like Glossybox, it was clear that the products were kinda low quality. Some of them seemed almost empty, and definitely not worth the money I shelled out.

    Subscription box disappointment

    I was so pumped about getting my Birchbox every month, but man, I was pretty bummed when it didn't show up this time. They said it was a warehouse mix-up, but come on, I still haven't gotten anything after they already charged me. I tried hitting them up through email and social media, but they straight up ignored me. This whole mess has convinced me to just cancel my subscription. I can't say I'd tell anyone to sign up for Birchbox after this.

    Got billed for a box I never got

    I ended up getting charged for a box that never showed up. I tried to contact customer service but their webpage was down, so now I'm lost on how to get my money back. I really hope things aren't going downhill for them, that would be such a bummer! I heard some rumors that they might be facing Chapter 11. I'm planning to challenge the charge for October.

    I gotta tell you about this bad experience I had with a company last October. They charged me for a box but I never got it. Been waiting months with no updates or communication from Birchbox. I tried reaching out to them but got no real answers, just generic responses. Turns out, I'm not the only one - lots of others got charged without getting their products or being locked out of their accounts. And now I find out Birchbox is shutting down without telling us, still taking our money. This whole situation is a mess, no transparency or accountability. Really not happy about it.

    I can't believe Birchbox totally pulled a fast one on me with their Black Friday deal. I was pumped to finally get my hands on my order, but it never showed up! On top of that, they went ahead and charged me for two whole months without delivering anything. I've been trying to get in touch with their customer service, but it's like talking to a brick wall - just a recording, and they won't even bother replying to my emails or Twitter DMs. Such a frustrating situation!

    The subscription box I got from this company was such a letdown. The stuff inside was small and boring, it felt like I could've just grabbed better things from a hotel. And to top it off, I found out they either edit out or don't even show negative reviews, which seems super shady. After being disappointed for two months straight, I finally gave up and canceled my subscription. The only thing I kinda liked was the bag, but the products themselves just caused breakouts and were pretty much disposable after one use.

    I recently signed up for a year-long beauty box subscription, and I have to admit, it's been a bit of a letdown. I ordered my first box back in November with the promise that it would arrive by a certain date, but unfortunately it didn't. The company seems to be having some trouble keeping up with their monthly deliveries, which is a bummer considering that's the whole point of the service. I was really hoping to give my box as a Christmas gift, but that plan was a bust. When I reached out to customer service, they explained that they sometimes struggle to keep up with the demands of the monthly schedule. Pretty frustrating, especially since I paid for the whole year upfront at a discounted rate and now I'm stuck with no options for a refund.

    First Birchbox experience

    My Birchbox experience was pretty disappointing. I ordered on the 11th, got tracking info on the 12th, but didn't get my stuff until the 21st. After patiently waiting 5 days, I decided to shoot an email over to customer service. It took another 5 days to hear back. They told me my item got lost, and later blamed Black Friday for the holdup, even though I ordered before then. They said sorry and sent a replacement, but no discounts for future boxes or free gift to make up for it. I wish they showed more appreciation. Now I'm thinking I might give other subscription boxes a shot in the future.

    3-month subscription, delayed shipments

    I signed up for Birchbox hoping for a fun 3-month subscription, but it's been a major letdown. I paid in advance but have only gotten one box so far. I picked out products for my second box over a month ago, but it still hasn't shipped. I contacted customer service over two weeks ago and haven't heard back. On top of all that, the product choices aren't that great. Even if the boxes came on time, I don't think it would be worth it. Overall, Birchbox has been a huge disappointment and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.

    Two dry mascara samples

    The Birchbox samples I got over the past six months have been a letdown, especially those two mascara samples that were so dry I couldn't even use them. And the other ones they sent weren't worth the try. I tried to cancel my subscription after six months, but there was no obvious way to do it on their website. I emailed them a few days ago to cancel, but haven't heard back yet. And to top it off, they charged me for another month without even telling me after my initial six-month subscription ended. Canceling my Birchbox subscription has been a hassle and honestly pretty annoying.
