Mechanical reclining chair
I just bought this reclining chair for a little over $1000 and it's been a real letdown. After only 6 short months, the reclining feature started acting up, making the chair move back and forth on its own. I tried to get it fixed or swapped out, but the guy at the store kept telling me it was fine and that I'd have to make any adjustments myself or fork over $80 for a service call.
Leather Recliners
Hey man, I've got these two leather recliners, right? One's been with me for 15 years, the other just 5. And let me tell you, the old one still looks way better than the new one. It's still super comfy and the leather's holding up like a champ. But that new one? Man, it's falling apart already. The arms are squished, the seat is sinking, and the leather is peeling off. Like, seriously, what's up with that? I'm not even that big and it's looking like I've been going at it in a wrestling match every day. So disappointing, bro.
Power recliner with serveco total protection Pet 5 year warranty
I bought this power recliner back in 2021 from this company, and I got it with the Serveco Total Protection Pet 5 year warranty. My cats ended up scratching the chair pretty badly three years later, and when I called Lazyboy about it, they said that kind of damage wasn't covered. Serveco, though, took a look at the info I sent in and decided it was due to multiple incidents, so they denied my claim. They didn't even bother to come out and check the chair in person. I feel like I threw away $270 on this useless warranty, and I want my money back in full.
2 recliners
I got these two really comfy chairs and the dude at the store told me they had a lifetime warranty. But you know what? They ended up breaking just a little over a year after I bought them, come on! And then 5 years later, they broke again. They wouldn't even fix them because apparently it wasn't covered. Can you believe that? A piece of wood broke off and they said it's not under warranty, what a joke. The folks at the store are slackers and these chairs are lazy too. Don't make the same mistake I did and waste your money on them!
Custom Sectional Purchase
Ugh, can't believe how terrible La-Z-Boy is! My family and I ordered a custom sectional and it's been a complete nightmare. They promised it would arrive by Christmas, but it's missing in action! I tried calling them, but all they did was give me the runaround. Finally, they told me it wouldn't be ready until July! No way, we need a couch for our twins coming soon! We had to go somewhere else to buy one, and it's not even close to what we wanted. La-Z-Boy, boo on you!
3,500 couch disappointment
I bought this couch from that store for $3,500 and it broke down after just a year and a half. So, I called customer service, and they told me the warranty was up and I'd have to pay the full repair cost. I was so let down by how they didn't stand by their product. It felt like all they wanted was to take my money.
Power recliner purchase
I recently got a power recliner from this place, and let me tell you, I am so disappointed with my whole experience. When I talked to the salesperson, I made sure to ask if the recliners they deliver are just as comfy as the ones in the store because of some past letdowns. But they reassured me that they would be. Well, turns out, that was a total fib. The recliner I got dropped off three weeks back feels like it's got barely any padding in the seat, and I can totally feel lumps and rock-hard spots that make it super uncomfortable to sit in. I'm feeling like I wasted a ton of money on a product that just doesn't meet my expectations at all. So yeah, I won't be telling others to shop at this store anytime soon.
