    Nanoleaf - A Smart Lighting Solution with Great Product and Customer Service

    I've been a Nanoleaf customer for a few years now and I have to say, I've been extremely impressed with their products and customer service. I first heard about them through a friend and decided to give their smart lights a try. I started off with a small setup in my living room and have since expanded to multiple rooms in my house.

    The app that controls the lights is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. It allows me to set schedules, control the brightness, and even create my own scenes. The lights themselves are very customizable, with a wide variety of colors and patterns to choose from. They're also very energy-efficient, which is always a plus.

    I've also had to contact customer service a few times for various issues and they have always been extremely helpful and responsive. They've even gone above and beyond to help me troubleshoot any problems I've had.

    Overall, I highly recommend Nanoleaf to anyone looking for smart lighting solutions. They have a great selection of products, a user-friendly app, and fantastic customer service.

    Nanoleaf Shapes purchase

    The Nanoleaf Shapes has this awesome hardware that gives you beautiful scenes and colors, but I gotta say, the software is a letdown in so many ways. The Android app is just so slow and sometimes doesn't even respond, making me go back to the main menu just to make it refresh and show the changes in scenes or brightness. And it's always losing connection and freezing during updates. There's no progress bar, so I'm just left waiting forever, crossing my fingers that the app hasn't given up on me, which unfortunately happens too often. The auto-brightness feature is buggy too, sometimes not doing anything or randomly dimming the lights without brightening them back up. And I can't even set a schedule for the lights to turn on or off with the sunset or sunrise, which is super inconvenient. But hey, on the bright side, the hardware itself is solid and the customer support from the company is reliable and helpful.

    Essentials light strip

    I recently bought an Essentials light strip and, man, do I love the lights that are working! Unfortunately, I ran into an issue with one of the light strips. Dealing with customer service to get a replacement has been a real headache. It all started on Jan 1st when one of my light strips got stuck on bright white and wouldn't budge. I reached out to the customer service team and opened a case. I tried a bunch of troubleshooting steps, but nothing worked to get the light strip to pair up. The worst part was waiting forever for the company to respond to my emails, usually taking like 4-7 days. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, I got an email saying my case was being closed because it took me 2 days to ship back the faulty part. No solution or info about a replacement was given. It seems like they need the bad unit back before sending a new one, but the lack of updates is really frustrating.

    I recently bought some different lighting products and I'm really impressed with how nice they are. I've been buying from this company for a while now and I've never had any big problems with their stuff. Their customer service team was quick to help me out when I had a little issue with the app. I have a mix of lights from their Essentials line and some fancier ones like the canvas and tiles, and they all make my home look really stylish. The app was a bit tricky at first, but the recent update made it a lot easier to use with Google Home.     Triangular lights 18 months

    I picked up these awesome triangle lights about a year and a half ago and I absolutely love them! The various lighting options are really cool to mess around with, especially the 'Magic Scene' setting. The app can be a little wonky sometimes, and the lights might be listed as 'unavailable,' but I can usually get them working again by turning them off and on myself. It was a little tough getting them on the wall in the perfect spot, but it was totally worth it. I ended up buying some as a present for a friend who came over and they were also super into them!

    Home kit bulbs

    I just picked up some home kit bulbs from the original store and they are pretty nice overall, especially the Matter ones. But man, the app that comes with them is seriously lacking in features. I reached out to their support team by email, but it's been 20 days and still no response. Super disappointing that they're not putting in the effort to help out their customers. I'd think twice about recommending their stuff until they step up their customer support game. Maybe check out some other options if you're in the market for something similar.

    The light panels I bought from this company were a total disaster. I tried to connect them to my iPhone so many times over the past year, but it just wouldn't work. I contacted customer support three times, but all they did was send me checklists to try, which didn't help at all. They did send me a new control unit, but that didn't fix the problem either. And then, they just started ignoring my emails altogether. Definitely steer clear of this company if you can.

    Purchase of defective controller

    I had a problem with the controller for my product recently. After just using it for a year, the lines were not working right. I tried contacting customer support, but after some back and forth, they stopped responding. So, I had to go back to the store where I bought it to send it back to the company for repair. It's been three weeks now, and the store still hasn't heard anything about the repair status. It seems like there might be a recurring issue with the controller, and the support is not that great. After this whole ordeal, I'm really not sure if I would buy from them again.

    Hexagon-shaped lighting for bedroom

    I bought this hexagon-shaped lighting for my bedroom, and at first, I was really taken with how cool it looked and the vibe it gave to the room. But, after just a year of using it, the thing started acting up. I got sent three different replacement controllers, but none of them fixed the problem. Dealing with customer support was a real hassle - I had to send them videos, photos, and detailed explanations over and over again. The whole situation with the product and customer service has left me feeling let down and unhappy. I wouldn't recommend buying this product or anything else from this company.

    I tried to connect the product to both Android and Apple phones, but it just wasn't happening. The wifi signal from the product showed up on our phones, but every time we tried to connect, it would time out. After many failed attempts, we just got so frustrated and decided to return the product. It was such a letdown dealing with a product that was incomplete and didn't even work properly.

    Hey there! Just wanted to share my experience using the LED panels. Gotta say, the panels themselves are amazing. They not only look great with their unique design and cool functionality, but they also provide awesome lighting for any space. However, dealing with the company has been a bit of a letdown. I've had to get the controllers replaced multiple times right after buying them, which has been super annoying and definitely affected how much I enjoy the product. Also, reaching out to customer support hasn't been the fastest, so resolving these issues has been a struggle. And don't even get me started on the app's syncing features - it takes forever to sync when I switch devices.     12 panels ordered, received 9

    I bought 12 panels the other day, but got only 9. I reached out to customer service, and they asked me for some photos and told me to sit tight. I sent the photos right away, but I don't get why they needed them since they know the weight and size of the package already. It's been a whole month and I'm still waiting for them to figure this out. Do you think I'll ever get those missing panels, or will I have to take this up a notch?

    Smart lights purchase

    The smart lights I bought were such a letdown. Out of the five sets I got, three of them stopped working in the first year. And then, in the second year, another set decided to stop working too. Plus, the "smart" remote just gave up after one week. It's crazy how much energy these lights use even when they're not being used. Honestly, these lights are the absolute worst you can find out there.

    LED light panels

    The LED light panels I bought were part of their WiFi enabled product line. Setting them up was a breeze, and the customization options were endless. However, when I also bought non-WiFi enabled LED strips, I was pretty bummed out. The customer support was almost non-existent, and the company admitted to that when I contacted them. Even so, they still claim that the thread/matter is reliable on their website, which could be misleading for customers. And when it comes to their collaboration with other brands, like the SecretLabs MAGRGB line, it didn't quite meet my expectations. In general, I'd say stick with their WiFi enabled products and steer clear of anything without WiFi capabilities.
