This is awesome
They are really good to be very honest. i am playing chess since i was 12 and i own differents sets in my collection. i am sure i have better and much expensive ones but the chess store is unique in its own way without costing too much. So its a really good deal for collecting something new like this

I wanted a small chess set for working out chess challenges from a newspaper; magnetic and folding for easy storing. The smallest one the Chess Store had online turned out is working out very well. When I received the set it everything was as advertised, but it was missing the black bishops. I emailed the Chess Store with the issue and right away they shipped the pieces to me. I'm very satisfied with the chess set and service.
Large Napoleon Chess Set and Board
I paid $539 for a chess set on August 8, 2021. I have still not received the package 21 days later. It has been sitting in a Fed Ex facility since August 11th. It has been sitting not moving for 14 days. Apparently there was a problem with the label, which the Chess Store claims they fixed. However, no package a week after the correction. It still had no pending date. So the Chess Store after numerous (9) contacts, asking for assistance, redirected the package back to them. However, they will not credit my money until they receive the package. How is this my fault? I paid they $539 - and have nothing, and will not get a refund for the foreseeable future. They are getting the set back but, I get nothing. If they selected Fed Ex and Fed Ex cannot deliver the package, it is their problem. I still paid my money for it and want it back. I asked the customer service rep to check on it numerous times before he did. Then he said it was due to covid, which it was not. It was due to a label mistake on their end. Now we have to wait for an unlabeled package to be returned to them before I get my money. What kind of company is this? Check around there are other complaints about their customer service online, go elsewhere. Do they scam the high dollar purchases? Seems so.
