Return policy and customer service experience
I had a really bad experience with the return policy and customer service at this store recently. I had to wait almost a whole month for them to process my return, and when I finally did, I found out I could only return things I bought in-store a certain way. Plus, they charged me $6.00 for the return, which seemed like way too much. When I tried to ask the customer service peeps about it, they were so rude and unhelpful. It's just not cool to treat customers badly just because a pair of boots didn't fit right. I've had way better customer service at places like Temu, and this whole thing made Torrid look really bad in comparison.
Ship to store order cancellation
So, I gotta tell you, my experience with this company was just terrible. I placed a ship to store order and out of nowhere they went and cancelled it. And get this, they didn't even bother to let me know they cancelled it, so I was totally lost trying to figure out what happened to my order. To top it off, I paid for it with a gift card and getting a refund was like pulling teeth. The way they treat their customers is just not okay. It's common decency to give customers a heads up if their orders are cancelled and get them their money back right away.
Bold and trendy plus-size clothing
Hey, I gotta share this story with you about the awful service I got. I tried contacting customer service right after I ran into a problem, but can you believe they didn't even bother getting back to me quickly? It took a whole 8 days for them to finally respond. Now that's what I call bad customer service!
Plus-size clothing purchase
I went shopping at a plus-size clothing store the other day, and I gotta say, I was super let down by the customer service. They advertised that they had my size in-store, but when I asked, they told me they didn't have it. The person helping me just vanished out of nowhere, which really annoyed me. I tried talking to the manager, Brenda, about it, but she kind of just shrugged it off as a chance for training. Let me tell you, this whole thing really soured my shopping experience, and I definitely won't be going back there.
Online order for overpriced sweater
I recently bought this super expensive sweater from this store online. The website was kind of a pain, so I decided to just go to the store in person to place my order. Already not the smoothest process. Finally got the order in and was looking forward to getting my new sweater. But then I found out it got delayed. Waited patiently for it to come, only to get an email saying they couldn't deliver it because of an "insufficient" address. So bummed out, especially after all the hassle of ordering it. Now I just hope they put the refund back on my gift card without any complications.
