Sneaky automatic renewal
I was totally caught off guard by the automatic renewal of my service contract. I didn't get any heads up, but my contract got renewed without me even knowing. I only realized what happened when I saw a charge in January for a service that had already ended in December. It's super frustrating to be forced to pay for something I didn't even ask for or approve!
Review about: WOW Skin Science
Haircare products
As a customer of WOW Skin Science, I have to say that their products work really well and are top-notch. But man, the prices for their stuff in the USA are way too high compared to India. I checked out their Indian website recently and boy was I surprised to see that the shampoo I wanted was only 400 rupees, while here in the USA it's 20 bucks, three times more! When I asked about why the prices were so different, they said it was because of shipping costs from India to the USA, but that didn't sit right with me. It just doesn't seem fair to charge American customers so much more, especially when we know the prices are lower in India. I thought about buying from the Indian site and having it shipped to family in India, or bringing it back myself when I travel, but turns out the Indian website is blocked here in the USA, probably to keep us from seeing those lower prices. I've liked some of their products, but I can't recommend buying them here because of the crazy high prices. It's a bummer that their pricing here doesn't match up with how affordable their stuff is in other places.

Vinyl subscription experience
My experience with the vinyl subscription service was super disappointing. The website talked a big game about hooking up with Spotify for personalized recommendations, but the artists I got were way off from what I like. I've been signed up for three months now, and haven't seen a single vinyl record, let alone the three they promised each month. And you can't even cancel on the website, you have to call in, and then deal with customer service that doesn't seem to care. The music choices were meh, and the whole thing was just frustrating because of their bad rules and lack of communication.

Birthday gifts for husband
I just bought some birthday gifts for my husband from this company and let me tell you, I couldn't be happier! The quality of the products, the customer service, and the quick delivery were all top-notch. Everything I ordered was just like they described and my husband was so pleased with everything he got. The customer service folks knew their stuff and were really helpful with my order. And the delivery was fast and on time, even earlier than I expected. I'll definitely be coming back to shop here again in the future because my whole experience was awesome.

Tire installation nightmare
The installer we were supposed to use ended up being a total disaster. My son had to wait for over 5 hours at Pep Boys, just for them to not even put on the tires. We tried to reschedule for the next day, but they said it would still take all day. We were so frustrated with how incompetent they were, so we decided to go somewhere else and took our business to Discount Tire.
