Right after the needle hit I sat there with my coffee—surprised it sounded pretty warm. The record itself feels solid, jacket looks nice, and I’ve been playing it on lazy mornings. But the whole signup/cancel routine was a pain. You can only cancel by phone and I’m not great with that, so I tried email and ended up in a day-long back-and-forth where they told me I “had no active membership” while my bank showed otherwise. Glad the music was okay, but the service and price? Meh, could be better.

What I'm mildy critical about is the whole "they don't ship until you manually confirm" setup. It feels odd for a subscription. If you're the kind of person who likes surprises and is open to being nudged into new sounds, it's great. If you're expecting regular deliveries like most subs, you'll be frustrated. Shipping would be better handled as part of the subscription fee with a simple opt-out or a short time limit to make selections — that would cut down on the "where's my vinyl?" complaints. Price-wise, I lucked into a promo that made it roughly $10 per record for a three-record plan with shipping. If that deal's available, it's reasonable; at the base $35 plus shipping, maybe less so.
Overall: I like the records I got enough to keep it going, but the UX around ordering needs work. I can't believe how awful this record subscription is! First off, their customer service is basically nonexistent. The records they send every month are total garbage. And when I asked for music I actually like, they hit me with, "Sorry, we're all about discovering new music." What a joke! And get this, no refunds! Once they've got your cash, you're stuck with their crappy records. I even tried to sell the records they sent me to a pawn shop, and they were like, "No thanks, we don't want this stuff." So yeah, save your money and skip this lousy subscription service.

This place is a total mess. I only gave it 2 stars because, surprisingly, I did get 2 out of the 9 records I wanted. They clearly don't know anything about customer service. I ordered back in August and didn't get it until October - like, seriously slow! I tried emailing them multiple times to cancel, but had to threaten the Better Business Bureau before they finally gave me a refund. Don't fall for their marketing tricks, you won't get what they promise. Instead of Panic! At the Disco, I ended up with some random country band even Spotify doesn't know. Save yourself the trouble and shop somewhere else.
