Payroll services for a part-time employee
My experience with OnPay was really disappointing. I used their payroll services for almost a year to handle payments for a part-time employee at my company, and it was a mess. They kept messing up important documents, which led to a ton of bills and notifications from the EDD. I not only had to deal with financial issues but also wasted so much time on the phone with both OnPay customer support and the EDD trying to fix their mistakes. Dealing with all of this was super frustrating and took up so much time, especially since it was just for one employee who didn't even work that many hours. Finally switching to a different company for my payroll was a huge relief, and I should've done it sooner to avoid all the stress caused by OnPay.

OnPay has totally changed the game for us! We switched from QuickBooks payroll and are so pleased with the service we've gotten. Their customer support is amazing - I never have to wait too long on hold, and the reps are always super helpful and know their stuff. Transitioning was a breeze, and we've saved a ton of money. OnPay has definitely gone above and beyond for us.

Payroll software experience
Our experience with OnPay has been absolutely awful. Even though the software is easy to use, their customer service and tax department are really lacking. We had a lot of problems with late tax filings that led to extra fees and penalties. The lack of communication and responsibility from their team is just not okay. It's obvious that the company doesn't have enough staff and isn't prepared to meet their customers' needs. We've spent a ton of time trying to work with them, but we've made the decision to move to a more dependable payroll service provider. I would recommend staying far away from OnPay!
