even our folks out in the boondocks get messages, so replies come faster than calls most of the time. Solid for small businesses, I’d say.
Worth it with quirks
I'd recommend it, but there are a few small things. I've been using TextMagic for several years and I still point people to it when they ask — I first saw it demoed at a small medical conference and then told our office manager to give it a shot. It speeds up confirmations and short questions so we don't have to hunt people down by phone, and even patients out in the sticks usually get the texts. Sometimes threads get messy and a handful of features feel clunky, but overall it's been genuinely useful.

I've been using the text messaging service for a while now, and I've always found it reliable and effective. But things changed when I got an email saying they're now charging £120 a year for the Sender ID feature that used to be free. That really bummed me out. It feels like they're trying to get good reviews by bombarding customers with popups, and now I get why - they knew people would be upset about the price increase. Sadly, this is a deal-breaker for me, so I'm gonna have to say goodbye and close my account.

Quick account set up and immediate charge
I recently signed up for this service, and I gotta say, I was pretty impressed with how quickly I got my account set up. But then things went downhill pretty fast. The way they handle their pricing rubbed me the wrong way. At first, when I sent out some promo texts, the charges were reasonable. But then, out of nowhere, the prices shot up without any heads up or explanation. And on top of that, they decided to tack on an auto top-up feature without even asking me first. So they ended up taking more money from my account than I was cool with. The whole thing just feels shady and greedy. I feel like I got taken for a ride, and I'm definitely gonna be searching for a more trustworthy service provider going forward.

I recently tried out SMS marketing for the first time and I was really disappointed with the experience. The fact that I had to buy credits before even trying the service was really annoying. And then when I tried to set up my number, I got an error message that was super unhelpful and disappeared before I could even read it. The whole interface was not user-friendly at all, and those error messages were no help. It made me feel like maybe SMS marketing isn't for me. I had a terrible experience and I definitely wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.
Cancelled subscription service
Hey, so I signed up for this texting service and it turns out it's a monthly payment thing, which really sucked. But when I asked to cancel, they did it without any hassle. Hopefully they'll switch to a pay-per-text option soon, that's what I'm after. I don't wanna be charged every month if I'm not even using it.
