My Experience with Catbird
I've been a client of Catbird for a few years now and I couldn't be happier with the service they provide. I just bought a gorgeous necklace and earrings from this store for some special events, and let me tell you, I was totally blown away by how great the quality and craftsmanship is. I just got some rings from this place and I gotta say, I am really impressed. The customer service was outstanding, super fast responses, even during the crazy holiday season. The shipping was quick too, had my order from overseas in just a week. The jewelry is gorgeous, they have a fantastic selection and offer a variety of sizes. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase.
Engagement ring purchase
I'm really bummed about the service I got when I bought my engagement ring. I placed my order back in June, giving them plenty of time to resize it before my August wedding. But, the ring ended up coming late and needed resizing. Even though I thought I allowed enough time for that, it came back the same after 6 weeks. I had to send it back yet again for resizing and I'm still waiting. The lack of communication and failure to speed things up was just not cool.
Chokers and Rings
I'm really kicking myself for buying from this place. I've been eyeing their jewelry for ages and finally took the plunge. Spent a hefty $1000 on 2 chokers and 4 rings. And wouldn't you know it, they start a Valentine's Day sale the very next day and won't give me the free gift. Talk about bad luck, right? And then the rings I got, even with all the measurements I provided, don't fit at all. I tried to swap them for a smaller size, but no dice. So now I'm stuck with these pricey rings that I can't even wear. What a waste of cash and time, seriously.
Twisted Stacker Ring purchase
The Twisted Stacker Ring is just one of many rings I got from this place. The quality is amazing, and the prices are fair. I really adore the delicate and lovely designs of the rings I purchased (twisted stacker, mignon memory ring, hammered ring, first knuckle ring). I wear them every day and I'm excited to visit the store again next time I'm in NYC.
Welded bracelet
Oh my gosh, I'm totally in love with my new bracelet! It's so cool and unique, and it makes me feel like a fashion queen. The quality is seriously amazing, I can't stop admiring it!
Wedding band purchase
I recently bought a wedding band from this place, but the ring I got doesn't look anything like the pictures on their website. It's really disappointing because this ring means a lot to me, and I thought it would be top-notch quality based on what I saw online. I've had some back and forth with their customer service team, showing them proof to back up my case, but they've been pretty dismissive and not very helpful. The actual ring I got is nowhere near as detailed as the one in the listing. It not only didn't match the design I picked out, but it also looked completely different and was lower quality. The difference between what was advertised and what I actually received is just not okay.
White gold chain purchase
My experience with this company was really a letdown. When I got my order, I was surprised to see that the white gold chain I ordered was actually yellow gold. I specifically wanted white gold to go with a pendant I already had, so this mistake was really frustrating. The quality of the jewelry wasn't great either - it was supposed to be fine and delicate, but it looked cheaply made, especially considering the price. When I reached out to customer service, they told me they don't do exchanges or returns for international purchases, which was disappointing and didn't show much concern for customer satisfaction. Overall, a very disappointing experience that I wouldn't recommend to others.
Ring and earrings set
I bought a ring and earrings set from the store recently, and man, was I let down by the quality! They didn't match the description at all and seemed super cheap. On top of that, the customer service was a total bust – they didn't even try to help me out. It was so annoying that there's no returns policy for folks in the U.K. I definitely wouldn't suggest shopping from this company.

I bought some earrings from this store not too long ago and I gotta say, I wasn't too happy with how things turned out. The customer service was seriously lacking - I kept asking them to take my name off their list, but they kept saying no. It felt pretty disrespectful to me, ya know? I was really disappointed and annoyed. I'd suggest others to be careful before buying anything from them.
Poor quality jewelry
I gotta tell you, the jewelry I got from this place was just plain awful. I mean, the quality was so bad that it actually made my earlobe almost come off. My doctor even told me not to wear it anymore because of how shoddy the materials were. But against my better judgement, I decided to give it another shot, only to have the same dang thing happen again. I had to get it taken out with a shot, which was painful and totally unnecessary. And when I tried to talk to customer service about it, they basically just pointed the finger at me and didn't want to own up to anything. It's pretty obvious that they really don't care about their customers or their products, so do yourself a favor and don't waste your hard-earned cash on their trash jewelry.
Pearl earrings purchase
I picked up these pearl earrings and thought they were adorable, but can you believe it, they fell apart after just a month! The pearls were barely holding on and the clasp on the back was so loose, it fell off and disappeared! And let me tell you about their customer service - I'm from overseas and they were no help at all. No refund, no fixing them, no new pair. Plus, they don't even allow you to write a review on their website so I can't even warn other people about how bad they are. Ugh, I'm never shopping there again!
Ring stones falling out after less than 2 weeks
I bought a ring from this company, and it's been a bummer because less than two weeks later, the stones started coming loose. I've tried reaching out to them through email and Facebook, but it's been three days and still no response. When I took the ring to a jewelry store for insurance purposes, they told me it was badly made with low-quality stones.
Engagement ring
I got this really beautiful ring from the store, but man, my experience with their customer service was just so bad. I got an engagement ring there and before I bought it, I specifically asked if I could get it resized if I needed to. They said yes, so when I needed to get it from a size 6 to a size 7, I was told they couldn't do it because it was beyond a certain limit. They never told me that before! It was really frustrating to have to go through so much just to get someone to listen to me. And then the customer experience manager took forever to respond, dragging this whole thing out for weeks. Overall, their lack of communication and transparency about their policies left a bad taste in my mouth.
