Mediocre Experience with Hubble
I've been using Hubble for a little over a year now, and overall, I have to say that my experience has been pretty decent. The main thing that drew me to Hubble was their affordable prices and wide selection of contact lenses. They offer all of the major brands, so I was able to find the exact type of lenses that I needed.
One thing that I really appreciate about Hubble is their convenient online ordering system. It's quick and easy to place an order, and they have a subscription service that automatically sends me new lenses on a regular schedule. I think it's awesome that you can order the 30 pack for just $1, especially if you can use different email addresses and names to keep ordering more. Can you believe this? I ordered contact lenses only to discover they've stopped operating in the UK. They sent me an email saying they wouldn't be restocking my lenses, but failed to mention they were basically closing up shop. And to top it off, they still had the nerve to take my money even though they knew what was up! I attempted to contact customer service, but no luck - phone numbers and chat features weren't working. I only learned about their sketchy business dealings when I came across this review site. I want my money back!
Streaming device purchase
The streaming device seemed like a good idea, but it didn't live up to its potential when I actually tried using it. I quickly realized it didn't have some important apps like Stan and Prime that I really like to use. And on top of that, the device itself wasn't very reliable - I kept running into network problems and the video would stop to buffer a lot. The Kayo app that came with it was especially frustrating because it kept crashing and freezing up. I've never had those kind of issues with my Apple TV or Fetch box.
Subscribed to a "special deal" on some online thing
So, I thought I was getting a great deal on my favorite show, but it turned out I accidentally signed up for some random subscription service. I tried to sort it out, but they just kept transferring me to different places. After a while, I gave up and tried to cancel on their website. I did cancel, but they still charged me! I tried everything I could think of to stop the charges and unsubscribe, but every time I checked, I was still enrolled. I wasted so much time dealing with a stupid automated system. Finally, after a lot of back and forth, I got through to a real person who finally canceled it for me. I'll never make that mistake again. The whole process was shady and it's so hard to get them to stop taking your money. And don't even think about getting a refund!
Unauthorized charges for streaming services
I've been dealing with some bogus charges on my account for streaming services I never signed up for. I've tried reaching out multiple times to get this sorted and get my money back, but all I've gotten is the runaround and delays. Customer service even told me I don't even have an account with these services, but the charges keep coming. This lack of responsibility and dragging their feet on fixing it is driving me crazy. I'm still waiting on my refund and really hope they can sort this out soon.
Monthly subscription cancellation request
Customer service was terrible. I wanted to cancel my monthly subscription but all I got were generic responses that didn't really help. And every time I asked about problems with my direct debit, I just got an unhelpful chatbot. Plus, after wearing their contacts for a couple of years, my eyes felt really strained and tired. Turns out, the cheap lenses they sold me weren't letting enough oxygen in. Not a good experience at all, would not recommend.
