Hunting scope purchase
I'm a big hunter and I love shopping at OpticsPlanet. I bought a hunting scope for my son's birthday recently, but man, the whole ordering process was a nightmare. There were delays and problems left and right. Even though the company said sorry and promised to fix things, the scope still hasn't shown up and I'm just really frustrated and let down. It's obvious that OpticsPlanet needs to step up their game when it comes to customer service and delivery. They're causing a lot of unnecessary stress and hassle for people like me. If you're thinking about buying from them, you might want to think twice.
Laser sight purchase
I just ordered a laser sight from this company and their customer service was just so bad. I talked to this lady named AMANDA and she was all friendly until I needed help with my account. Then, she suddenly "lost the connection" and left me hanging. It was terrible coming from a company that's supposed to be reputable. I'll definitely be going somewhere else next time.
Two optics
I bought two optics from this company recently, but they got canceled without even telling me. I was really bummed out by the lack of communication and it left me feeling frustrated. And to top it off, when I tried to get help from customer service, they were no help at all, which just made things worse. It seems like this company seriously needs to work on their professionalism.
Scope for a rifle
I recently ordered a scope for my rifle from this company as a customer. I liked the selection and prices on their website, but I was really bummed out by their shipping process. I paid extra for faster shipping, thinking I'd get my order quickly, but that didn't happen. It took over a week for the post office to even acknowledge my order, and now I won't get my scope until 10 days after I ordered it. This slow shipping is not cool, especially since the item was in stock and I paid for faster shipping.
High-powered binoculars
I just can't believe what a disaster this company is. I ordered a pair of top-of-the-line binoculars and it took forever to get them, with no heads up at all. The way they handle things and lack professionalism is so irritating. I should have listened to the other reviews that said the same thing. Do yourself a favor and find another place for your optical needs.
Ammo
Optics planet has had an order of mine "processing" for nearly a year - 345 days. That Item has since doubled in price and they would lose money delivering it to me at the price they advertised and we agreed upon. Therefore, all I can do is wait until they cancel the order (Which they undoubtedly will) or continue to ignore my requests for shipment and offer unsatisfactory replacements and current pricing. Never will I order from Optics Planet again.
Never received
Same issues as everyone else. They want your money so bad that they blatantly lie about inventory count and shipping delays. First purchase I made was not shipped for 2 months, so I canceled it and ordered from another vendor. That order arrived in 2 days from their competitor. OP shipped my 2+ months late order 5 days after I canceled it. I then had to ship it back, at my expense, to get my refund(which took another month). Second order was listed as "in stock"(not likely) and shipping 15-24 days. After 2 months, I blocked all transactions having to do with OP from my payment method. That did not keep them from attempting to charge me 4-5 times until they took the hint, almost 3 months from when I made the mistake of ordering from them for the last time. I finally blocked them from Chrome so I didn't have to see anymore of their lies in my search results. Just a horrible company that should never be at the top of any search results. You should pretend they just don't exist, as you will regret trying to save money by having them waste your time and money. Consider ordering from OpticsPlanet not to be an option, ever, for any price. You will regret it.
