Leupold VX3HD 3.5X10-40
OpticsPlanet is one the very finest retailers for optics online; as well as the entire gamut of hunting, shooting, and personal protection. In conducting business with PlanetOptics spanning over five years, I have found their customer service personnel outstanding. The customer service people are all knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and are ready to assist the consumer (buyer) in going the extra mile. The emails generated by OpticsPlanet relating to order placement are very efficient in keeping the customer informed of the order progress.
The prices are reasonable, as they offer special discounts at various times. More so, the items (goods) are top quality, unmatched by any other online retailer specializing in the same arena. Simply put, there is not a better retailer online than OpticsPlanet. In all the purchases I’ve made, not once was there ever an issue to an order placement. The shipping time is excellent, and the commodities ordered are always well packed with new boxes. We would highly recommend OpticsPlanet to all seeking to purchase the aforesaid goods ‘without’ any problems. I believe their return shipping is free and OpticsPlanet backs all their items. I've been shopping at OpticsPlanet for a while now and I've always been really happy with their products. They've got fair prices, fast shipping, and everything is always top-notch. I recently bought a tactical scope and it was exactly what I was looking for. OpticsPlanet always comes through with quality stuff and great customer service. They really go the extra mile to make sure you're happy.
Scope purchase
I just bought a scope from this company. The shipping took a bit longer than I thought, but it wasn't too bad. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I've always had good experiences with OpticsPlanet before.
Equipment bag purchase
I just bought a gear bag from this company, but I've been having a bunch of problems with my order. I've tried reaching out to customer service, but OpticsPlanet has not been very helpful at all.
Binocular Purchase
I tried to buy some binoculars from that store, thinking I could get them before Thanksgiving. But man, was I let down. They didn't ship it like they said they would, and the customer service people I talked to didn't really know what they were doing. When I talked to a supervisor named Sonya, she said she'd call me back in 10 minutes, but she never did. That made me feel like they just didn't care about me or my order. So, I had to just cancel it and go to Amazon instead. They never let me down.
Slow Shipping Experience
I just got something online from this store, but lemme tell ya, the shipping was a real drag. They sent out my stuff with DHL, but then it got handed over to USPS. I was trying to keep tabs on my order with the DHL number, but there was no info. And get this - I shelled out $12.99 for shipping, only to have it move at a snail's pace. Looking back, I shoulda just gone with USPS shipping from the get-go. Live and learn, I guess.
Order mess-up and bad customer service
I tried using a discount code when ordering, but it wouldn't work. So, I placed a new order and customer service wasn't able to help me apply the discount. I'm really frustrated about the whole situation! They just kept sending me generic emails that were no help at all. Now, I don't even feel like ordering from them again.
A cool scope
So, I was looking for this really cool scope that I wanted and I found it on this really cool website, but it was kinda pricey. But I decided to buy it because I've bought stuff from them before and it was always cool. So, I asked them if they could match the price of another website and they said no. That was fine 'cause I already bought another even cooler scope from somewhere else. But then I realized all my bonus points were gone! Like, what? Did they really delete my points 'cause I bought something else? That's so not cool. So, I closed my account 'cause that's just petty.
Trigger for firearm
I bought a trigger for my gun from this company, but they actually sent me two triggers instead of just one. I tried to contact their customer service by email to get UPS to come pick up the extra trigger, but I never heard back from them. And when I checked my credit card statement, I saw that they charged me more than the price listed on their website. Dealing with their lack of responsibility and bad communication was really frustrating.
Recent purchase experience
I just wanted to reach out and let you know about a little hiccup I had while making a purchase on your platform the other day. So, I got a call from your Risk Management team, and they told me that my order was being denied and put on hold. They asked me why I was using a VPN, which caught me off guard – I mean, I'm just a regular ol' customer in the good ol' USA, with a billing address right here in the USA. It felt a bit invasive and unnecessary, ya know?
Ammo order cancelled
I ordered some ammo from this company on a Saturday and got an email saying it was in on the same day. But then, come Thursday, they hit me up saying they had to cancel my order because of California rules. They even tried to say that I placed the order on a Tuesday, after the rules changed. When I placed the order, it was all good in California, so it's pretty irritating.
Tactical flashlight
I had a really bad experience with this company recently. I ordered a tactical flashlight but when it showed up, it wasn't what I expected at all based on their website. Getting a refund was a hassle - had to make a bunch of calls and wait for weeks. In the end, they only gave me back the money for the item and wouldn't cover the shipping fee. Pretty disappointing since the mistake was on their part for mislabeling the product. I won't be shopping with them again and I'd warn others to watch out for similar problems.
Hornady brass purchase
I bought some Hornady brass on this site not too long ago, and let me tell you, it's been a real headache. I got charged on my Visa, no problem there, but then I waited. And waited. Two whole months went by and still no sign of my order. I called customer service time and time again, only to hear them say they had no record of my purchase. Talk about frustrating! Felt like a total scam to me. I'm definitely steering clear of this website in the future.
Delayed shipment
My recent experience with OpticsPlanet has been so frustrating. I ordered something three weeks ago and still haven't gotten it. I've tried calling customer service a bunch of times to ask about my order, but it's always a long wait and the responses aren't helpful. Finally got to leave a voicemail after waiting on hold for 15 minutes, and they said they'd get back to me soon. But this whole thing has me wondering if I'll ever even get my order. The customer service is just not cutting it.
