Custom Barn Door
A $2200 door arrived with no mounting holes drilled, packaging that scratched door, the outside layer separated from the core do in general terrible quality. Coustomer service is terrible, Coleen is worthless. They expected is to buy the repair paint and pay for return of unneeded hardware. This company is terrible, so stay away if your smart.
Three barn doors
Horrible workmanship. Pressed paper wood doors, hollow, warped, refusal to repair or replace. This company should be avoided at all costs. After numerous attempts to solve a warping issue they told me they are not going to address

Ordered track (gold plated) for 3 double doors on Nov. 18, 2020for shipment on 12/12/2020. After numerous calls and e-mails I finally received my order on2/26/2021. Still missing a few parts and some (door handles) that were terrible workmanship. Would not do business with them again.
Oversized custom sliding door and hardware
My door arrived unfinished and the wood was beginning to separate in places where it was not glued properly. The overall quality of wood is very poor. The soft close system I received was not compatible with the hardware I ordered. I sent pictures to Craig King, the salesman who helped me place my order so that I could be sure of receiving the correct door for my needs. Craig King completed my order which required me paying in full in the amount of $2,398.06. I’ve called and emailed customer service on four separate occasions but I’m across the country from White Shanty and have no recourse. They violated our contract and they still have my money.
Barn Door
As 2020 moved us into working from home we needed a new barn door to make a space a home office. We purchased a large barn door with hardware and all drilling and prep to be done to the door in July. When the door arrived, White Shanty had failed to cut in the router area to fit the recessed handle. Without this the door was incomplete. We contacted White Shanty immediately and explained the error and that we would have to pay a contra tor to do additional work to make the door ready. After getting a bid for $80 to do the work Chris Campbell the Sales manager agreed that was fair and they would refund our credit card that amount. (This is a $2000.00 door for reference) . We had the door installed and after several months I realized the $80 never arrived. I contacted Chris in Early October and he stated it was in process and apologized for the delay. After not hearing or seeing the refund in the coming weeks I called again and was escalated to Joe the “Escalation Manager” Who then said he would get the refund taken care of that week and and we should get a confirmation email by Monday. Nothing Happened. I then called every week for 8 weeks and was told that Chris or Joe was at Lunch and would have to call me back (regardless of what time I called). Nobody ever returned a single call. The final call was handled by Michelle who said she went into Joes office and saw the refund form and that there was a lot of process to get that taken care of. I explained I had heard that every time I called and asked why nobody ever called me back. She had no answer other than they were busy. Now 6 months later and 15 phone calls and emails no response ever. I would steer clear of a company that cannot follow through on its work product and promises.
They were 30 days late to deliver and then delivered two left handed barn doors and had the audacity of Delivered two left hand doors and then said that we had to pay for the shipping costs to get a return! Unbelievable.
two custom doors
Ordered two custom doors in the beginning of July. They were promised for first week of October delivery. Then they were delayed a month, and I was assured they would definitely come November 2nd as I wasn't prepared to accept any more delays. They didn't arrive and I was unable to get a firm date. Customer Service gets an "F". I have now cancelled the order since they have not complied with their part of the agreement.
Door
They send me damage door and I refused to receive it and shipped it back.
This company took 6 month to REPAIR and send it back.
It was very difficult to reach to customer service and They didn’t follow up with status of door.I could not figure out when
I am getting my door.
Today FINALLY shipping company R & L Carriers shipped my door. My nanny was outside and She sign without knowing anything. Driver didn’t ask her name or who she is, I heard door is coming down and went out and asked to driver if we can check door condition, Driver said “NO”. BECAUSE MY nanny sign the paper He doesn’t want to check the door condition with me. I have to open wood box with nail on it and He can only wait 5 min. And I said I will bring my husband from home bc I cant open this wood box. And driver got in car and left without saying anything.
I strongly suggest they need to change shipping company.
I never had this horrible experience ordering something.
And This company doesn’t install the door or even help you to put inside of your home.
They leave huge door on the street in front of your house.
