As a member of two Mardi Gras krewes, I'm always searching for products that fit our themes. Windy City Novelties consistently delivers exactly what they advertise on their website. I've found similar items at local stores, but they were much pricier than what Windy City Novelties has to offer. The affordable pricing is definitely a huge bonus for me.

Family vacation booking
This has got to be the absolute worst experience my family and I have ever had with a travel company. We planned this awesome vacation for February school break and forked over more than $2000 for ski passes and activities. And then, just a week before we were set to hit the road, BookVIP hits us with a cancellation call. Like, seriously? We even double-checked with the hotel, and they had rooms available - but now they were charging way more. It totally messed up our family trip and completely blew thousands of dollars. Such a major bummer.

Bluetooth headphones
I recently bought a pair of Bluetooth headphones from AnkerWork | Fantasia Trading, and honestly, I was pretty disappointed with the whole deal. The actual product was okay, but everything else was a pain. Right after I bought them, I started getting bombarded with newsletters and promo emails, and I never even signed up for that stuff. It was annoying having to unsubscribe from things I never asked for. And don't even get me started on the customer service - it was pretty lackluster. I felt like they didn't really care about my concerns. Overall, the ease of shopping online was ruined by all these annoying parts of the experience.

Rewards unavailable, pushy phone reps, slow system updates
I ordered a few things, but I had some rewards I wanted to use and they wouldn't let me! Then the lady on the phone kept pushing me to buy more stuff, even though I told her I wasn't interested. And to top it off, my gift card didn't show up for almost two days. Ugh, so frustrating!
