Flight review
We hopped on this really cool flight from South Africa to Abu Dhabi with my fam, and man, it was amazing! The flight attendants were seriously awesome and totally made our flight. Huge shoutout to Ashleigh Marigano and Rim Zouaoui for being the absolute best flight attendants ever! They worked their butts off and were super friendly to everyone, even the grumps. But gotta say, the flight attendants on the next leg of our trip from Abu Dhabi to Manchester weren't quite as awesome, which was a bummer.
Flight steward review
I had an amazing flight on April 13 from Abu Dhabi to Amsterdam! One of the flight attendants, Mdiam, was absolutely fantastic! He was super friendly, helpful, and caring to all of us passengers. I've never had such great service on a flight before. Mdiam really deserves all the praise and appreciation for his dedication and hard work. Make sure to look out for him, he's a gem!
Best trip to Abu Dhabi
Etihad holidays are very keen to provide great services. I truly admire their professionalism and services. I traveled with Etihad airways with great package. It has been great expereince.

Oh my gosh, can you believe it? My flight was canceled because of a technical issue, and guess what? They didn't even bother telling us until we were ready to board! I was so confused and stressed trying to figure out what was happening. To top it off, they made us stay in a hotel, but the next day they dropped the bomb on us - we had to wait a whopping 13 hours in Abu Dhabi before we could fly out. Can you imagine? It was a complete disaster, and I ended up getting back home more than 2 days later than expected. And all they offered us was some measly credit - as if that could make up for all the lost money from missing work and the stress we had to endure. They should've just given us what they promise on their website! To make matters worse, they were so rude about it, basically saying take it or leave it. Ugh, it was just so frustrating.
Terrible flight experience
My experience with this airline was terrible. The flight was so cold that we had to ask for extra blankets just to try to stay warm. The lack of basic comfort made the entire trip really unpleasant. And on top of that, there was no entertainment because the video system wasn't working. It felt like the long flight would never end without anything to pass the time. The food they served was just ok, in brown bags that looked like fast food from McDonald's. The food was as disappointing as the whole experience. It was definitely one of the worst flights I've ever had, and I don't plan on ever flying with them again.
Delayed flight, no refund, lack of compensation
The airline just up and canceled my flight out of the blue, so now I'm stuck getting back home three whole days later than I planned. And as if that wasn't bad enough, they won't even give me back the extra cash I forked over to upgrade my seats on the first flight. When I tried to ask for some kind of compensation, they just pulled some sleazy trick to weasel out of paying me a dime. It's downright shameful and low-down. From now on, I think I'll stick with Emirates or Qatar for my travels. Etihad Airways should be embarrassed for acting this way.
Flight review
I had to take this flight and let me tell you, it was absolutely terrible! First of all, the flight was delayed for hours and nobody bothered to give us any updates. They kept changing the gate so many times, it was impossible to keep track! I swear those flight attendants must have been playing hide and seek in the cargo hold.
The plane was freezing cold, I was starting to feel like a human popsicle. And let's not even mention the food - I legit thought someone had barfed on my tray. Then the layover in Abu Dhabi was a complete nightmare. Their website was useless and the customer service on the phone was clueless. What a total rip-off!Flight booking refund issue
I had a booking not too long ago where one of the passengers needed to cancel their flight and asked for a refund. Dealing with the airline's customer service about this refund has been super frustrating. At first, they gave me different timelines for when I'd get the refund, which just made things confusing and delayed everything. Even after asking them several times, the refund still didn't come through when they said it would, which made me really disappointed with how everything was handled. I would suggest avoiding this airline because their customer service and communication are seriously lacking.
Broken seat in business class
The seat cushion was like an air pad, which was nice because who wants to sit on hard plastic for 10 hours? The crew was awesome. They reached out to talk about it and even offered $100 after waiting for 3 months.
Flight experience
My flight with that airline recently was just terrible. My suitcase got broken into and stuff was stolen while I was traveling. I tried reaching out to customer service but they just brushed me off and said the damage wasn't a big deal. They wouldn't even compensate me for the stolen items. It's ridiculous how they're not taking responsibility for what happened. I can't believe a supposedly good airline would treat their customers like this.
Airline experience
After my recent experiences with the airline, it's clear that the service quality has really gone downhill. Even after they made a bunch of promises they didn't keep, Etihad just can't seem to provide good customer support. It's pretty disheartening to see a top-tier airline like them dropping the ball and not living up to what they say they'll do, leaving us passengers feeling ignored and fed up. The poor communication and lack of follow-through only make things worse, making for a really bad experience all around.
Flight ticket purchase
I bought my flight ticket, went to check in, and the airline asked for the credit card I used to buy it. But I forgot it at home, so I couldn't get on the plane. Had to wait forever - like 15 hours - then ended up buying a new ticket with Emirates, which cost even more. Still waiting for a refund from the first airline. It was a total nightmare!
Solo flight to Thailand at Christmas
My experience with this airline really let me down. When I travel alone, I usually trust recommendations from flight centers to pick a good company. But man, this airline did not live up to my expectations at all. I ran into problems on both my way out and my way back. First off, the online check-in told me I needed a visa when I didn't, causing a hold-up at Heathrow that stressed me out. Then, when I arrived at Abu Dhabi, I found out they didn't even give me a seat! I had to keep going back and forth between security and customer service to sort that mess out. The return flight was a nightmare too - their booking system messed up and put me on standby. I spent hours talking between the flight center and Etihad before they finally let me check in. It was a headache and really got on my nerves. Overall, I was so disappointed in this airline's lack of efficiency and bad customer service that I'm definitely going to look into other options for my next trip.
Changed airlines, extra cost
I was supposed to fly with one airline, but they switched me to another one and I had to fork out extra cash to bring my bike. The customer service at the Dubai airport was totally useless, and when I tried to reach out to the airline online, they straight up ignored me. I'm gonna do everything I can to avoid flying with them in the future.
