I was so frustrated with my car rental experience the other day. I had already paid for the rental, but when I got to the airport, they didn't have a car for me. It was such a hassle, I had to go find another rental company close by. But, I lucked out and actually got an upgraded car for £200 less than what I paid with Europcar at first. The way Europcar handled this situation was not cool at all and it really made me not want to use them again.
Delayed flight resulted in missed car rental, poor customer service
I had a really bad experience with Europcar. Our flight was late, so we missed our car rental pickup time and ended up stuck at the airport. The people working there didn't seem like they wanted to help us at all. We had to take a taxi to our hotel, and the next day we found out there wasn't even a car for us anymore.
Rental scam at Mallorca Airport
So my boyfriend and I got totally scammed when we tried to rent a car at the airport. The bill we got was way higher than what we were told originally. It was super upsetting and made us feel like we were taken advantage of. I just want to warn everyone to be really careful when renting from that place, maybe even record your conversations so you have proof of what was agreed upon.
Fast, efficient, low fees
My experience with the rental company was fantastic. The pickup was fast and easy, and the folks there were super nice and helpful the whole time. I was really impressed by how cheap it was compared to other places. The car I got was practically brand new, and it ran without any problems. I'll definitely come back next time I need a rental, and I suggest getting the full insurance for some extra peace of mind on your trip.

I just booked through a third-party site and it was a breeze. The pick-up and drop-off were smooth, the staff was super helpful, and the car was clean. There was a small issue with the car, but they took care of it right away.

I've been renting cars in Helsinki City for more than 10 years now, and I gotta say, the customer service at this place is top-notch. Quick and easy rental process
The check-in process was really quick and easy, even though there was a small issue with getting the contract and keys at the same time. The car they gave me was awesome and worked great for some long trips. Checking out was easy too.
Scamming tourists with hidden charges
This rental company is a total scam! We rented a car and when we brought it back, they hit us with a 110 Euro charge for a tiny "rock chip" on the windshield that we didn't even know about. It was super small, we couldn't even see it unless we were right up close. They said it had to be fixed right away and also added on 76 Euros for admin fees. The whole thing was annoying and really soured our experience in the city we were exploring.
Car rental nightmare
I rented a car online for our family vacation, but when I went to pick it up, they told me it wasn't ready and made me fork over extra money for an upgrade. I asked if I could cancel and get my cash back, but they flat out refused. My kid was exhausted and in a bad mood, so we ended up just paying the extra fees. We won't be using this company ever again, that's for sure!

Great service, reliable
Me and my husband decided to rent a car for a roadtrip from New York to Miami, we had the car waiting for us at the airport and we could hop in straight away, the car was safe and fueled up with sat nav, overall Europcar is a reliable company.
