    Woke up, grabbed this on my way out and honestly it's been in heavy rotation since. The fabric is softer than I expected, kinda lightweight but still warm enough for chilly commutes. Fits true to size, pockets useful for keys and phone, and the zipper doesn't snag — small things that matter when you're rushing. I wear it for errands, dog walks, and even working from the couch; it doesn't look sloppy. Shipping was a little slower than I hoped, but customer service answered quickly and sorted a question I had, so that helped. Feels durable, not flimsy, and the stitching looks solid so far. I'm pleasantly surprised — it's become my go-to. Also the color held up after a wash. Glad I gave it a shot.

    Thought it was London — big surprise

    I opened the box expecting a decent dress from what looked like a London retailer and instead got something thin and badly stitched. That was disappointing, sure, but what really annoyed me was the return mess. They stalled, asked for proof, finally gave a return address — in China — and wanted me to pay and show tracking. I’ve bought from plenty of UK shops before and never had to do that, so paying £16 felt like pouring salt in the wound. I sent it via Royal Mail with tracking, waited, and then they told me customs in China was holding it and there was nothing they could do. After that my emails went unanswered. I was a bit gutted and more than a little annoyed, but I also learned to always check where stuff ships from and to ask about returns up front. Not all sellers are like this, but heads up — check the small print and keep your tracking handy.

    Unexpectedly relieved

    I was standing at the kitchen island, phone in hand, watching the tracking updates — that's the moment I knew they'd make it right. I ordered a dress for my wife, paid, and when it arrived it didn't fit. I messaged the company and they agreed to refund once I sent it back, gave me a return address (in China) and I shipped it, tracking and all. The parcel got stuck in Chinese customs for ages, a month or so, and that was annoying. But after I nudged customer service with the tracking info, they really looked into it, kept me in the loop, and eventually processed the refund. It wasn't instant, sure, and the waiting was frustrating, but the refund showed up and that made me happy. I use their site mostly for special occasions, and this experience won't stop me — their follow-up and final fix convinced me they're willing to sort things out. Small hiccup, big relief.

    Amara has seriously become my go-to for all things home decor! I mean, they just always have the best stuff, you know?     I've gotta say, I am seriously blown away by all the awesome products this company has to offer.     Credit note issue

    I had a credit note worth $1000 from this company, but when they went bankrupt, they wouldn't honor it. Their customer service was terrible, they kept refusing to honor the voucher. When I contacted them, they basically lied about why they couldn't honor the credit note.

    I recently bought some stuff from this company, and when I needed to return one item, it was a total headache. I had to pay for shipping and multiple fees to send it back. Dealing with DHL and failed drop off tries was a mess, so I reached out to them for help. They finally sent me DPD labels, but it's been 10 days and I still haven't gotten my refund. Waiting 14 days to process it just doesn't fly in this online shopping world. I've given them proof of delivery, but they're still making me wait. I'm really let down by the customer service and how everything's gone.

    Baobab Collection candle purchase

    I bought a Baobab Collection candle from this company because I wanted to have a nice candle to make my home cozy. But, I was really let down when the glass of the candle broke because it got too hot while I was using it. It was scary and made me feel like the product was not good quality. Plus, when I contacted customer service for help, they couldn't give me any useful advice, which made me even more upset.     Refund issue

    I've been dealing with a refund problem from my recent purchase for the past 3 months and it's been a total nightmare. I've given them all the info they needed, like the tracking and proof that I sent back the items, but their customer service has been just awful. I've sent more than 20 emails and every time I get a new person giving me a different excuse or asking for more stuff. It seems like they don't want to give me my money back, even though the tracking shows the items were returned. I even tried opening a case on PayPal, but they said they couldn't do anything because of that, so I closed it like they said, but still no refund. This whole situation is so frustrating and crazy. It's obvious that the new owners brought crappy customer service with them. I really suggest staying away from this company.

    I just got a bunch of new furniture from this store, and let me tell you, I was totally impressed by how nice everything was. It was a really fun experience unpacking everything, and each piece looked even better in person than it did online. The furniture is super high quality and the design is top-notch.
