    mini split system

    I ordered a mini split system from ecomfort. The outdoor unit shipped in a reasonable amount of time. But it has been nearly a month, and I still do not have the indoor units. This is holding up my install. When I ordered the line sets from ecomfort no where on their site did it state that I needed a combined total of 49 feet of line set. I found this out after I received the outdoor unit and installation manual. I had to return one line set and purchase a longer one to meet the minimum required ft of line set. I paid for the return shipping, but ecomfort also charged me for return shipping although I had already paid for the return shippi9ng myself. I still do not have the indoor units, and no where on ecomfort's website did it indicate they were on back order. All I have to say is RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM THIS COMPANY! I will never purchase another thing from ecomfort. Powerequipmentdirect.com is the same company, so don't purchase from them either, both terrible!

    NEGATIVE, the product is OK, the return support is horrible, I paid to return 6 fittings and eComfort if charging me $49 for return shipping. Ie for a service they did NOT provide. I paid for the return shipping

    Condenser unit.

    My 82 year old Mom bought a unit from ecomfort.com less than 5 years ago. It had it's first failure after 3 years. A compressor. The repair cost for everything but the compressor itself. Was paid by her. The second failure. A condenser coil failure. Happened a couple of months ago. We have been trying to get ecomfort.com to honor the warranty. And repair or replace the unit. They have been giving us the runaround for almost 2 months now. Mike and Stephanie of customer service are the two that we have dealt with. Their game is to give you bogus numbers to call for support. And to keep you on hold all day. This was the experience of 2 different HVAC companies we hired to verified the failure. At ecomforts request. Ecomfort will simply not communicate with anyone, period. They constantly play shadow games with you in emails. The will not pick up a telephone and correct an issue for any reason. My Mom is 82 years old and on Oxygen. It has been over 100 degrees here for the last few days. Forecasting much more of the same. ECOMFORT.COM is a SCAM company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! They have no customer service. Just a couple of people that will keep you jumping through hoops. Thank goodness for the folks at Discover. A CC chargeback is our only recourse at this point. So be it.

    Air conditioning unit

    Absolutely the worst company. Purchased an air conditioning unit back in May. They sent the wrong one. Took 10 days to get them to pick it up and over 2 weeks to get the refund. They sent out another unit 10 days later... Guess what... also the wrong one,, another 10 days to get it picked up. still waiting for the refund... They sent the third one without all the parts!!!! Today is July 7, 2020 and we still cannot use the unit,,, no parts.... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

    I couldn't agree more. THEY ARE AWFUL! Rip Offs!!!
