    Kitchen purchase

    I bought a kitchen from this place and had their team install it, and man was that a mistake! The whole thing has been a nightmare from beginning to end. Their customer service is just terrible - they seem lost. The installers they sent over were a mess, doing more damage than good. If you're considering getting a kitchen from here, save yourself the trouble and get your own installers. I've been waiting for 14 weeks for them to fix this mess and it's still not done. Needless to say, I am super frustrated with this whole situation.

    Eight storage boxes

    I ordered eight storage boxes and unfortunately, four of the lids were damaged when they arrived. The packaging was not great, and the delivery person handled the boxes roughly. I called customer service right away and they were really quick to help. The woman I talked to was super professional and she got replacements sent out with no issues. The customer service was amazing. But I have to take away a star because of the bad packaging from the company. And don't even get me started on the delivery person who just dumped the package in my backyard without letting me know. Luckily, I was home and moved it before it started raining.

    My trip to the store was not great. The service I got was way below what I was hoping for. The person helping me, even though they were a supervisor, didn't show much respect or common courtesy. I couldn't believe how rude they were. And when I tried to talk to someone higher up about it, they didn't really want to help. It was obvious that the people working there needed to up their professionalism.

    PAX wardrobe anchoring issue

    The PAX wardrobe with mirror doors really gave us a hard time. We were totally caught off guard when we realized we had to secure the whole thing to the wall for it to be stable. Problem was, as soon as we opened the doors, the wardrobe just toppled over. We had to get a specialist to come in and beef up the plasterboard wall to handle the weight of 200 kg. To make things worse, the company didn't offer any help or advice when we complained. I think it would've been good for them to mention on their website if a product needs specific technical assembly or extra work afterwards. It would've saved us from wasting money on something we couldn't set up right.

    So, the 2023 BESTÅ used to be all free-standing and easy, no need for wood bolts or wall securing. But now, they're all about dowels and screws to keep it in place. Problem is, the screws they give you are too short to use with the spacer - total pain. I kinda wish they'd kept it simple like before, you know?

    I just got some new stuff for my kitchen from this store and man, was I let down. I paid extra for express shipping and only got 2 out of the 20 things I ordered, with no reason why. When I reached out to customer service about the missing items, they said it would take 4 more days to get them. Not cool. And when I asked for a refund on the express shipping I was just met with rudeness and a flat out no. I am really bummed about the whole experience and I don't think I'll be shopping here again anytime soon.

    Purchased a bookcase and desk set

    I had a lot of trouble with my recent order from this company. I thought my stuff had been delivered after I placed the order online and checked the delivery updates on the website. But when I called Customer Service about it, they told me my order hadn't been delivered yet and I was third in line to get it sorted out. That lack of communication really got to me, so I called DPD, the delivery company, and they said they had delivered my items and even showed me a photo of a different door as proof. The fact that the company and the delivery service weren't on the same page just made things more frustrating. When I got in touch with Ikea again, they told me it was up to me to reach out to DPD directly to track down my order, which I felt was really unprofessional and not okay. Right now, I'm waiting to hear back from DPD about where my package is.

    Buying something online was easy, but things went downhill after that. The delivery was a mess. They failed to bring my stuff twice, so I decided to just cancel my order and get my money back. Figured third time's the charm, but nope. They gave me a 6-hour window for delivery, making me waste my whole day waiting for them. The delivery folks didn't seem to care about giving good service. One of them even made up some excuse for being late. Their unprofessionalism and unreliability really ruined the whole online shopping experience.

    Kitchen items for my kitchen makeover

    I bought some really neat kitchen items to spruce up the place. They promised fast delivery and even let me choose a date, but they ended up being late! I had to scrap my cool kitchen makeover plans because of their tardiness. I eventually had to cancel my order since they couldn't even give me a reliable arrival time.

    Large furniture return

    Returning that big piece of furniture to the store was a total headache, let me tell you. The whole automated return thing was a joke - they gave me a label and told me to drop it off at a gas station for pick-up, but surprise, surprise, the gas station couldn't even take it because it was too huge. Then when I called customer service, they had the nerve to try and charge me £25 for them to come get it, even though it was supposed to be a "free return" according to what I saw when I bought it. I had to really stick to my guns and argue with them to make them honor their own policy, and finally they took the item back without any extra charge. Such a frustrating situation, let me tell you.

    Bed and curtain rod purchase

    I recently bought a bed and a curtain rod from the store. But man, I ran into some issues with my order. First off, they told me the bed I wanted was actually out of stock because of a system glitch. So even though I was able to place the order anyway, it was a bummer not having the right inventory info. That mix-up delayed my delivery, which was super annoying. On top of that, I threw in a curtain rod for 28 bucks. But since the bed wasn't coming, the dang curtain rod was pointless without it. The customer service folks offered to refund me for the bed, but I didn't think it made sense to pay full price just for the rod.

    Glass cabinet with impossible instructions

    Oh my gosh, putting together that glass cabinet was like trying to crack a code from another planet! We had to assemble it four times before we finally got it right. And on top of that, Task Rabbit bailed on us so we had to figure it out on our own. It was a complete nightmare! Definitely not dealing with that again!

    I bought this bookcase, you know? And can you believe it was damaged! The top part and the floating shelf were all messed up. I've been trying to get that floating shelf replaced, but no luck. Sebastian, Mark Specket, and Beth keep saying they'll send it over, but nothing has happened yet. It's been forever and still no floating shelf. They keep blaming the warehouse team, but they need to step up and fix this mess. It's just so frustrating not being able to set things right!

    I bought a ton of furniture, dropped a bunch of cash, and when it was delivery day, they didn't bring it all the way to my apartment! I had everything ready for an easy delivery - parking spot, wide doors, a big elevator - but they just ditched it outside. I was furious and IKEA didn't lift a finger to help. Totally uncool.

    I just got this drawer thing and man, the service was top-notch. Ordering was a breeze, the delivery was fast, and the delivery guys were super nice.     Bad customer service experience

    Oh my gosh, I can't believe what happened when I went to that store! The parking lot was a mess, with people fighting and cars crashing into each other, it was insane! I went to customer service, but they were no help and said they didn't have parking attendants. Seriously, can you believe that? I talked to Sarah from the store on the phone and she was nice and tried to assist, but no one came to help out in the end. It was such a terrible experience, I was expecting better service but it seemed like nobody really cared to lend a hand.

    I bought some cabinets and shelves from you a while ago, and one of the shelves ended up being damaged. I've been trying to get in touch with you via email and phone calls, but I haven't heard anything back. It's really frustrating to be ignored by a company that says they value their customers.     Desk lamp

    Man, I bought this desk lamp from the store in Cyprus and turns out they charge for returns! Can you believe it? It's like they're out to get your money or something. And their delivery fees? Ridiculous! It's even pricier than a flight to Paris on Ryan Air. Seriously, are they for real? I am so done with shopping here!
