One of the bests is the tequila alternative – it's so close to the real deal. The whiskey alternative is perfect for whipping up a tasty N/A Old Fashioned, with its amazing aroma. I wasn't a big fan of the gin alternative, but I can see how it might appeal to others who like that burn. I do wish they had a rum alternative though, because who doesn't love a good pirate drink, right? Overall, if you're planning a fancy booze-free get-together or just want to enjoy some tasty mocktails, these alcohol-free spirits are the way to go.
Ritual Zero Proof products
I recently gave the Ritual Zero Proof Rum, Whisky, Gin alternatives, and the Aperitif Alternative a try. The Rum really impressed me with its great taste that closely resembled traditional rum, minus the alcohol. The Gin was perfect for whipping up some refreshing G&Ts, while the Whisky was surprisingly tasty, although it didn't quite match the taste of regular whisky. On the other hand, the Aperitif Alternative let me down. It had this chemical bitterness that reminded me of cherry cough syrup, coupled with an overwhelmingly sweet flavor that just didn't hit the mark. I'd definitely recommend the Rum, enjoy the Gin, and find the Whisky to be a unique experience. But I'd suggest steering clear of the Aperitif.
