Monthly subscription purchase
I messed up by not checking reviews before I bought the monthly access, assuming it was just for one month. But then when I got an email saying I was getting automatically renewed, I figured out my mistake. I tried to cancel the subscription, but it was impossible – there was no option on the website or the app. It's so annoying dealing with a company that makes it hard to cancel stuff, it feels like a scam.
Language learning program
I bought this language learning program thinking it would be great for beginners like me, but boy was I wrong! It was super challenging and there were no explanations for mistakes in the lessons. Plus, they didn't really cover grammar in a good way, so it was hard to understand the basics of the language. And man, it was expensive! Definitely not budget-friendly, especially for students. The pronunciation teaching wasn't that great either, it needed more detail. But hey, at least they had short daily lessons to practice the language.
Farsi language learning app
I just started using a language learning app to learn Farsi, and I've run into a few problems. First off, there seem to be some differences between how prepositions are spoken and how they are written in sentences, which can get confusing. Also, when I write words using Arabic letters, the app doesn't connect the letters correctly as they should be in handwriting. And the speaking exercises are tough - I'm not sure if it's the app or my laptop's microphone, because even when I think I'm saying things right, I still struggle to get a good score. Overall, the app could use some improvements in its language exercises and accuracy.
Learning Greek app
I've been using this app to learn Greek every day and practice speaking. It's decent for that, but I keep seeing a ton of errors with the grammar. I even check my grammar book and the app still messes up. I reported a mistake before, and they said they'd correct it, but it keeps happening, especially with the verbs. It's frustrating because I want to rely on the app, but the mistakes are making it difficult.
