train tickets
Very disappointing experience with Bookaway.
We booked train tickets twice during our trip, and both experiences were unacceptable.
The first time, we booked tickets to depart from a station where, upon arrival, we were informed that no trains had been running from that station for months due to damaged railway tracks. This was clearly known well in advance, yet Bookaway continued selling tickets without any warning or notification.
The second time, we booked and paid for seats on the 9:30 AM train. Instead, the operator sent us tickets via WhatsApp for the 3:00 PM train. We were never informed that our booking had been changed. At the station, we presented our Bookaway voucher, only to be told that it was not valid for boarding. After finding the WhatsApp message, we discovered that the tickets were for the afternoon train. We were allowed to board initially, but another staff member later checked the tickets, realized they were for the wrong train, and asked us to leave.
Bookaway's response was to suggest that we should have checked the WhatsApp ticket beforehand. However, that completely misses the point: we received tickets for a train we never booked. Customers should be able to rely on receiving tickets that match the booking they paid for.
These two incidents show a serious lack of quality control and communication. I cannot recommend Bookaway for booking train tickets, as the service proved unreliable and caused unnecessary stress, delays, and additional travel expenses.First booking experience
My first time booking was actually pretty smooth. I was kinda unsure at the beginning, but it all worked out really well. The website was easy to use and I found everything I was looking for without any issues. It was all done pretty quickly and I liked that. I'll definitely book with them again next time. Thanks for making it a great experience!
International transportation services
I recently used this company for international transportation and I was really impressed with how professional and efficient they were. I was a tired solo traveler with a bunch of bags after a long flight when I got to the airport in the morning, so it was a relief to see one of their drivers waiting for me. They had a nice car all ready to take me to my new place on the other side of the world.
Easy, on-time transfers
I used this transfer service recently, and let me tell you, it was super easy. The drivers showed up on time, the customer service was really quick to respond, and they even handled a last-minute change to my booking without any problems. I definitely suggest them if you want a stress-free transfer experience.
Novalja to Split Airport trip
I just booked a trip on this site from Novalja to Split Airport, or at least that's what I thought. Turns out the bus only goes to Split, not the airport like they said. So, I canceled my ticket right away since I had bought cancellation protection. But then they hit me with a 10% booking fee that was never mentioned when I was booking. It's really frustrating to see them giving out wrong info and sneaky charges like that.
Only received 2 tickets instead of 3
I was super bummed about my recent purchase. I went ahead and booked/paid for 3 adult tickets, but then when I got my confirmation, there were only 2 tickets in there. It was a huge hassle for me because I had to shell out more money for another ticket at the counter.
Incorrect ferry departure details
The company gave me the wrong info about when the ferry was leaving, so I ended up missing it. I had to pay extra to get on a different ferry and make it to my destination. I told them about the mistake, but they said they had sent me an email with the updated departure time, which I never got. They first said they sent it on the wrong date, then changed their story. I asked for details on how to file a complaint and evidence of this mysterious email, but they ignored me.
Easy booking process in Vietnam
Booking our travel through this company in Vietnam was really easy. The website was super simple to use and we got our confirmation right away. Checking out the photos of the buses and trains really helped us figure out what we wanted. So far, everything has been smooth sailing and we're pleased with the service.
Bus tickets purchase
I just bought bus tickets using this service and was happy with how fast I got them after paying. But, I had a hard time figuring out where exactly the bus stops were. Turns out, the bus didn't stop right at the terminal, so we had to hunt around for it nearby.
Last minute booking change
I was in a tough spot because of a flight delay and had to change my booking at the last minute. Fortunately, the customer service team reached out to the operator and got everything sorted out with no problem. The trip to Manuel Antonio went really well and we had a great time. Our driver, Juan Carlos, was awesome - super friendly, knew a lot about the area, and gave us some great tips on things to do. All in all, it was a really great experience.
Airport pick-up issue
I had a big problem with getting picked up from the airport in Foz do Iguaçu. The day I was supposed to be picked up, the company told me they couldn't go to the airport on the Argentina side, so I got stuck in Brazil. Luckily, I found another way to get where I needed to go. Even though it was a hassle, I don't think it was Bookaway's fault, and they gave me a full refund right away.
Train tickets from FES to MARRAKESH
The worst experience we've ever had.
The platform booked us tickets for a date we didn't request. Additionally, the price was much higher than the one mentioned at the train station.
Also, they initially sent us pending tickets, and after two days, they sent us the original ones.
We tried several times to contact customer support to change our tickets, but without any result.
I do not recommend this platform to anyone.Timely transfers, easy booking, comfortable seats
I recently tried out this service for my transfers and I gotta say, I was actually really impressed. They were right on time for all my transfers which made my trip super easy and stress-free. Booking was a breeze and I was able to snag my seats in no time. The seats were comfy and the rides were nice and smooth. All in all, I had a good experience and I would definitely think about using this service again next time.
Safe and reliable travel in SE Asia
I've gotten used to using your platform to book safe and reliable travel in SE Asia. Unlike other apps that have taken my money for non-existent routes during Covid, I really value how trustworthy and affordable your service is. There are so many travel options to choose from, which makes it simple to find the best route for me. Keeping up to date and verifying tickets early has definitely made my travel experiences more chill and stress-free.
Quick and easy booking process
I had a great time booking my transportation on this website. It was so easy to use and find the perfect option for my trip. The confirmation email I got was really clear and had all the info I needed. I'm super happy with my purchase and will definitely use this service again!
Train tickets in Morocco
I just used this service to buy train tickets for my trip in Morocco. The tickets showed up on separate days, and the first one didn't come until the afternoon of our scheduled journey. It made us a little nervous since we couldn't get online at the time. But the support team came through and helped us out when we needed it. Now that I've got the hang of how it all works, I'd be open to using this service again for my next trip.
Private transfer booking in Cebu
I just got back from booking a private transfer in Cebu, Philippines and man, let me tell you, it was awesome! The driver showed up on time at the airport, greeted me with a smile, and we were on our way. He was cool, we could chat easily in English, and the ride was super cozy and clean. The whole drive to my spot was chill, took about 3 hours, and I felt totally safe traveling alone as a lady. Overall, it was a really reliable and stress-free service.
