King-size bed purchase
My experience with this company seriously got me frustrated. So, I ordered a king-size bed back in October and was told it would arrive by Christmas. But guess what? Christmas came and went with no bed in sight. I kept trying to get an estimated time of arrival, but all I got back were empty promises and constant delays. Finally, at the end of January, I found out from the manufacturer that the bed wouldn't show up until the end of summer. Turns out, the owner--I won't say their name--knew this all along but kept feeding me lies and holding onto my money. I had to get my credit card company involved just to get a refund. It's really disappointing to see a company behave so dishonestly.
Miniform Ramblas cabinet
I messed up by not looking at reviews before I bought a Miniform Ramblas cabinet from this company. It's been more than a year and I still don't have my order, which cost me $4900. I've tried reaching out to customer service many times, but all they've given me are excuses for the delay. Emails, calls, and online chats haven't been helpful, and now it seems like none of them even work. I had to take action by filing a claim with my credit card company and filing a complaint with the FTC. This company is a total scam and needs to be shut down right away.
Storage cabinet
I got this storage cabinet online and man, it was such a scam! The company wasn't even real or something. I tried hitting them up through email and Facebook but got nothing back. No updates on my order either. Seriously, don't mess with that fake company!
Pendant light purchase
I'm really upset right now. I ordered this awesome pendant light online and it turned out to be a disaster. This guy Jose kept saying there were delays in the supply chain and that the light would arrive soon, even gave me a specific date. But surprise, it never showed up! Now I can't reach anyone through email or phone. Their customer service link on the website is useless. I feel like I've been scammed. I'll try to get my money back through AMEX, but who knows if it'll work. Moro is the worst, avoid it at all costs.
Disappointing and frustrating
My experience at Moro recently was really frustrating. I got some food delivered and it was just a mess. They messed up my order, some stuff was missing, and the food was cold when it got to me. When I called to complain, the person on the phone didn't even say sorry and didn't help at all. On top of all that, the prices were too high for what I got. Overall, definitely not going back there.
Furniture purchase
My experience with Moro was a total letdown. I ordered three pieces of furniture back in August, and let me tell you, it was a complete nightmare right from the start. They were supposed to be delivered by ABF, not the other courier service listed on my receipt. Well, only one of the three items showed up, and it was damaged. Despite what the Operations Manager, Jose Coreas, told me, the delivery was a mess. ABF tried to just drop off the damaged item on the curb, which was totally not okay with me. So, I decided to cancel the order due to all the problems, and I was expecting a refund within the 5-day policy they advertised. But guess what? I never got that refund, even after trying to contact the company multiple times. Jose Coreas was no help at all, and acted shady and unprofessional the whole time. I even tried reaching out to the BBB and NY Comptroller, but nothing was resolved. The lack of communication and broken promises from the Operations Manager just made me more frustrated. I even tried to contact the owner of the company, but got no response. Overall, my experience with Moro was a major letdown, and I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.
Bookshelf
I bought a bookshelf from this company like a year ago and they kept telling me there were supply chain problems, but honestly, it seemed like they were just feeding me a bunch of baloney. I reached out every few months to see what was up, but they never had a good reason for the delays. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone, it's a total rip off.
Miniform Ramblas Cabinet
I wish I searched for reviews before placing a order with Moro.com. All of these reviews are accurate- Moro.com is a SCAM/FRAUD! I've been waiting over a year for a Miniform Ramblas cabinet (order placed on 3/31/22) that cost $4900. Both Jose and Anel keep making excuses as to why the product has not shipped. After countless emails, phone calls, online chats (none of which are working anymore) I finally filed a claim with my credit card company. I also filed a complaint with FTC. This company should be shut down.
Theo Wall Unit With Small Shelves Black
Avoid this company. I work for a professional design company and we read and re-read return policies ahead of purchasing items from vendors. This company has violated their 30 day return policy and will not issue a refund. The shelf we ordered was also shipped with a missing leg post and customer service reps Jose Coreas and Anel Rios’ only solution was to have us purchase another post separately for $350. This item was also a "quick ship, in stock" item and took a month to arrive. There has still been no resolution since and we have had to dispute the $995 cost with the bank. The phone number on the site leads to a dead end phone tree and email responses are few and extremely delayed.
Office Desk
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM COMPANY. Ordered an office desk for $7500in February and was charged the full amount at this time also. Supposed to be 9-11 weeks delivery time as stated on their website. Never received an email stating anything different. At the end of May after not hearing anything I requested an update and they said it would be shipped within 2 weeks. That was a lie and In July requested another update they said now ship in early to mid August. Mid August comes around then they say it will ship in mid October. Mid October comes and I hear nothing so requested a refund at that time and did not get any response. Now have to file a dispute with credit card company, filing complaints with Division of Consumer Protection in NY, BBB and view this as possible fraud so will be filing a complaint with the DA office.
Moro.com should read the FTC rules on stated shipping dates. Here is a refresher:

I placed an order on November 30, the charge is listed on my credit card statement on December 3. I received one email confirming Moro received my order and that I would be notified when it shipped. I have not had any communication from them. I have emailed, left messages on their “live chat” with no response. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!
Quinn Dining Table
On August 6, 2021 I ordered a Quinn dining table. My card was charged for $2500.
Prior to placing the order I confirmed with your representative by phone that the table was in stock. On December 27, almost five months after placing the order, the table arrived, but with no hardware - so useless to me. I have followed up repeatedly with Jose Coreas, Operations Manager. After first denying responsibility, Jose acknowledged the mistake and assured me the missing parts would be shipped and I would be receiving the tracking information. Neither the tracking information nor the parts have ever arrived, and Jose is now ghosting me. If you don't believe my story, check Jose's emails. This matter needs to be rectified immediately. If not, I will take legal action and post my story all over the web. Kind regards, Erin Young.
