I signed up for a one-month subscription from UrthBox just to give it a shot, and immediately canceled. Canceling was a breeze. When I needed help with a discount code that wasn't working, their customer service got back to me quickly in a few hours. Even though I found a different code on my own, they double-checked and said I was good to go. Overall, I'd definitely recommend UrthBox if you want a simple and tasty snack subscription service.
Gluten in "specialty" box...again!
I've been getting gluten-free boxes for a while now and it's crazy how many times I've gotten gluten contamination. It's not just a small thing, it's a big deal for people like me with allergies or intolerances. Every time it happens, I contact customer service and all they do is give me empty promises. The last email I got from them was terrible - instead of saying sorry, they tried to argue with me! Can you believe that?
Gluten-free box experience
I have Celiac disease, so I was really excited to get my gluten-free box. I was hoping to find some yummy snacks that I could eat worry-free. But when I got the 4th box, I was let down big time. There was a gluten-filled item in there, which shouldn't have been in a strictly gluten-free box. I expected all the snacks to be safe for me, but that wasn't the reality.

I recently tried out this snack box subscription service. It was just okay, nothing too amazing. The snacks were decent, nothing to write home about. The delivery was quick, and everything came in good shape. They offer a good mix of products, but nothing that really stood out. I wouldn't go crazy over them, but they're not bad either. I got my first box from this subscription service right before a trip overseas last month. The timing was perfect, and my whole family really enjoyed all the different healthy snacks it came with. Gifted GF box subscription
These boxes are really not good for those of us with allergies or Celiac disease. Someone gave me a gluten-free box subscription as a gift, so I thought I'd pass it on to someone else. But, the person who got it ended up with ramen that had wheat as the first ingredient (major mistake!). On top of that, our box had items that weren't labeled as gluten-free and were made in places that handle gluten. And then there were those unnecessary gravy packets - because who wants random gravy in a snack box?
Subscription purchase for daughter with celiac disease
I bought a subscription box for my daughter who has celiac disease as a Christmas present, but I've been really let down by the company. It bothered me that even though it was a gift, she still had to give her credit card info. It kind of ruined the gift-giving vibe. But the worst part was when my daughter got the gluten-free box and two of the products had wheat. When I told them about the mistake, instead of fixing it, they argued. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone because they don't seem to care about their customers' dietary needs.

I've been thinking about getting a subscription snack box for me and my family to enjoy, and I'm really happy I went for it! The box showed up in about a week, and we had a great time tasting all the snacks. Just a heads up, it automatically renews every 3 months. All in all, it was a blast and we loved trying out all the different snacks in the box.
