I ordered in July 2025. When checking out the last box to click it has CONFIRM ORDER but in tiny print was confirm to add primer to order totaling $126. When I tried to cancel that I was told to try it out and see if I like it. I was refunded $46 for the primer that doesn't make a difference when wearing. The color of Foundation ...35 was extremely Yellow. Looked like I had the flu. I asked to return for refund of $84 but they offered a different color and suggested to blend the two. Said I had 30 days to decide. So I figured what was the harm. OMG I was so wrong. It was ...25 grey beige with an average average coverage but It settles in wrinkles. After two hrs. you can see a layer that was thicker in patches between eyebrows on cheeks and ... Clinique is so much better ... cost less.
The concealer had sickly color to it as well ... blends in like it is moisturizer. The color disappears. One was pale yellow and the other was grey beige. Pretty much disappears completely when you blend with foundation.
I emailed to cancel FIVE times. They first reply with apology that I didn't like the product ... offer me a discount c0des for $15. I replied NO and I wanted a confirmation that this was not a subscription. After two ignored emails they replied with
"This is Emma from the IL MAKIAGE Brand team.
I was reviewing our lists and was very sorry to see that you weren't happy with your first order with us. I genuinely believe that we should have given you a better experience.
We want to make it up to you and make sure that you have a great experience with IL MAKIAGE.
Here is a $50 e-g!ft card..."
AGAIN I emailed asking to cancel and confirm I was not going to be charge for a subscription. They replied with this,
"My name is Nicki and I lead the customer experience team for IL MAKIAGE.
While I am super bummed to hear you didn’t have a great experience with us, I am also so grateful that you took the time to share your feedback with us. We are always looking to improve and comments like yours help us do so! For your feedback, below is a $50 c0de."
I was very frustrated by this time After two weeks and 5 emails they confirmed I was canceled. This time it wasn't a prefilled email. It just said
"No, this is not a subscription. You will not be charged in the future". Nothing else in the email...
On the 18th of November I received an email that they couldn't charge my card for my Replenishment order (In 4 months they send a new order!) I replied that I cancelled and NEVER clicked for a subscription. However, on November 20th they got the charge to go through. $64 for ...25 and concealer ...3.75 . SO they didn't even apply all the discounts Total of $115 they gave me to keep to try to keep me subscribed.
I replied with the info above explaining I was assured I would not be charged again. They replied with
"I'm sorry to hear you want to cancel. I did check into the order a bit more and see that it is an auto-replenishment order. When you placed your original order, at checkout you were shown an offer to opt-in for our Auto-Replenishment program! This is not a requirement, nor is it preselected for you." They Actually blamed me!
This foundation is not worth it. They are a scam company sneaking in ways to make you think you are completing the order but actually adding products you don't want. Constant popups and extremely hard to cancel. Thank goodness I have all the emails and my bank did a chargeback. However I had to cancel my card to get them to stop. And we all know how annoying that is. Having to change all the bills to a new card hoping you didn't forget one and suddenly not have electricity.
So I am going with save yourself women. This is not like the TikTok videos. It isn't a magic coverage. I do not recommend this company or product. Yes they made me go FULL Karen. Never go full Karen ladies. LOL Cheers.Easy but annoying
I was trying to order some makeup from this website, and it was really simple. The only thing that bothered me was that they kept pushing me to buy more items by making me click "skip" multiple times. Long-lasting foundation
I've been using this foundation for four years and I haven't even thought about switching to a different brand. The coverage is amazing, it lasts all day without needing touch-ups, and it looks great in pictures. I tell all my friends and family about it because it's seriously the best foundation I've ever tried.
