Kangaroo has some really awesome and budget-friendly home security gadgets that are super high-tech and simple to use. I bought their Home Security Starter Kit, and it gave me all the tools I needed for some peace of mind. Setting up the system was a piece of cake because of their easy-to-use app and the fact that it connects right to Wi-Fi without needing another hub. Plus, the devices in the kit run on long-lasting AA batteries, so no complicated wiring is needed.

This security system is seriously amazing! It's not too pricey and super simple to install, even if you're not great with tech stuff. The customer service folks are really helpful and ready to help with any questions you have. Video doorbell purchase
I bought a video doorbell from your store because of a deal I saw, but man, it was a letdown. The video keeps glitching and missing important stuff, like when someone shows up at the door. Even though I was excited about the deal, I totally regret getting this doorbell. I wouldn't suggest it to anyone else. Save your cash for something better.
Doorbell camera purchase
The doorbell camera works fine for the price, but the real problem is with their subscription service. When you buy it, they give you a 1-year free trial, but if you want to cancel, it's a mess. There's no way to cancel through the app, you have to either call an international number or email them. The subscription cost is in USD but they don't make that clear, so customers end up with unexpected charges. And on top of all that, they don't even bother responding to emails when you're trying to cancel. I've sent them multiple emails with no answer, so I had to go to my bank to stop any more charges. In short, the doorbell camera itself is okay for the price, but the company's terrible customer service and lack of transparency makes it a risky buy.

My experience with the customer service rep, Archie, was amazing. He totally got where I was coming from with my home security worries and really helped me relax. I thought he was super professional and really quick at getting things done. Thanks to Archie, I feel way better about the security of my place now. I appreciate all his knowledge and help. I definitely plan on sticking with this company after such a good experience.
Affordable and good quality
I was trying to find something that wouldn't cost an arm and a leg, but still good quality, ya know? Had a bunch of questions about how to set it up, and the folks over there were so helpful and friendly. And on top of that, it didn't cost an arm and a leg, which was pretty cool!

I got some cameras and they were really easy to set up. The prices were really good and I even told my best friend about it. I highly recommend it!
Cloud subscription with expired videos
My videos disappeared from the cloud I paid $99.00 for after just 2 weeks. When I reached out to customer service, they were no help at all. They made my videos go poof, only showed me deleted ones, and messed with the dates in my cloud. On top of that, I didn't get my $99.00 back and I can't reclaim over $200.00 worth of stuff I bought. Super disappointed with the service I got.
Camera
I got this camera from a store that was really cool at first, but then it crapped out on me. They sent me a new one, but all my old pics were missing when I tried to look at them. And to top it off, they charged my credit card without even checking with me first! I have my own cloud, so why should I have to pay for theirs? And when I tried to get in touch with them, nobody even bothered to call me back and give me an explanation. So frustrating.
License plate security camera
I recently bought a license plate security camera that ended up being a huge letdown. Even though it cost a pretty penny, it couldn't even snap clear pictures of license plates, making it pretty much useless. And on top of that, the people working there weren't much help at all. I wouldn't suggest this product or company to anyone who wants dependable security.
Security camera purchase
I'm really bummed to say that my experience with the security camera from this company was super disappointing. The camera always had technical issues, with images and gifs not loading most of the time. The customer service was terrible, they were unhelpful and quick to blame me instead of offering help. Even with my high-speed fiber internet, the camera still didn't work right. In the end, I had to get rid of it and get a more reliable Google doorbell. I wouldn't suggest this product to anyone in need of a security camera solution.
Door camera purchase
I just bought a door camera from this company and, man, did I have a bad time. As soon as I got the product, I could tell it was cheap and didn't work like they said it would. I tried calling and emailing the company to complain, but no one ever got back to me. It's really frustrating to see a company not care about their customers like that. I definitely recommend avoiding them and keeping your money safe.
Smart doorbell and chime
I bought one of those fancy smart doorbells with a chime back in April. Everything was fine until early August when it just wouldn't pair up anymore. I tried all the troubleshooting tricks like resetting it and swapping out the batteries, but no luck. And when I tried to contact their customer service about the warranty, I never heard back from them. So frustrating! I was really let down by the whole thing, so my advice would be to splurge a little extra on a product that actually works and comes with decent customer service.

I've had to deal with the folks at this place a bunch of times now for renewing my subscription, and let me tell ya, it's been a real letdown every time. The prices are already steep as it is, but somehow they manage to make you feel like they're just trying to squeeze even more money out of you. It's really getting on my nerves, and I've had it with their shady practices and total lack of fairness.
