Tent
I bought a Mountain Star 2-person tent and took it on one 3 night backpacking trip. The tent bag material is super thin and ripped just from the ends of the tent poles (blunt and in their own inner bag that they came in). When I got home I filled out a warranty request. I had seen a lot of reviews about their great warranty service. I completed the warranty form and received the following response: "While we don't have a different weight of tent bag, a lot of us actually use a roll top dry bag instead of the stuff sack so that you can get better compression as well as have a bit better durability from the bag for long term use. A Large roll top bag works for the Mountain Star tent with the only caveat being that you will need to keep your pole set separate of the tent (which is something personally recommend to begin with for easier storage of the gear inside of a pack)." All I wanted was a replacement bag. I called and was told that they don't cover for "wear and tear". I said, "I used it once."
Not impressed. I paid a lot of money for this tent to only have the bag tear on it's first trip out.Lightweight hunting backpack
I just bought a new lightweight hunting backpack from this company, and I must say, I am really impressed. The material they used is top quality, and the design is both practical and good-looking. The backpack has a bunch of compartments for all my gear, and the way the weight is distributed makes it easy to carry on long hunting trips. It's clear that they put a lot of thought and work into designing this backpack, and it really paid off. I am super happy with my purchase and will definitely be telling all my hunting buddies about this brand.
Lightweight hunting gear

I just bought this awesome hunting jacket from a company and I gotta say, it's been amazing. The material they used is top quality, super durable and comfy on my hunting trips. Ultralight hunting jacket
I recently bought the ultralight hunting jacket from this company and I couldn't be happier with it. Mountain hunting backpack purchase
I am so happy with the Mountain hunting backpack I got from this company. The materials and design are amazing, top-notch for sure. It's lightweight, super tough, and has all the features I need for my hunting trips deep in the wilderness. I've taken it out a few times already and it's still holding strong. I would definitely suggest this backpack to any serious hunter in need of a high-quality pack.
Guide Jacket
Beware of their "Lifetime warranty" which states "this warranty lasts for the lifetime of the product"! I purchased a guide jacket in 2011 and only wore it casually--never on a hunt. Recently I packed it for a trip and found that the glue on the seams around the arm vent zippers failed on both arms. After contacting customer service to make a claim on the lifetime warranty, I was told, hey, it's 11 years old and "Industry wide, the average lifespan of a softshell jacket is roughly six to seven years as has been compared with Arcteryx, Patagonia, and other top level brands across the industry."
Nowhere on the Kuiu website do they state that the lifetime of their softshell jackets are an industry average 6-7 years. They referred me to a third-party repair service who has quoted me approximately $50/arm plus shipping.
Lesson learned: not only does Kuiu fail to honor their warranty (they've breached the warranty), but their products are .... I have a Sitka softshell jacket purchased 1 year before and which I have worn on elk, geese, grouse, pheasant hunts and the seams are fine.Jacket and pants
So dissapointed by a large company like this. Have spent a lot of money here on an order 18th august, and my package is somehow lost in transit, the latest update is on the 20th of August where it says «shipping information received».
I have tried to reach out to the customer service several times, where the first couple of response was that it wasn’t anything wrong, and the last response was for over an week ago (10 days) where they gonna check it further.
they have no given any good response, and for 10 days I haven’t heard anything despite for my follow ups and emails that has not been answered.
KUIUs customer service has some major flaws. Lack of response is the worst kind of response.
They should at least give me some updates and status for when you are gonna fix the problem and send me the gear I have paid for. Been waiting patiently since 18th August.22 oz bottle
Bought a camo metal drink bottle. The finish came off in under 3 weeks. Warranty said that was normal use wear, and not covered under warranty

Poor durability and service
Bought my husband a jacket and it was too small. Used return shipping label to send back on December 28, 2020. It has been over 2 weeks and still no credit for the returned jacket. Return process is super slow!!!! Called and spoke to a Kuiu Customer Service Rep and she was absolutely on of the rudest reps I have ever encountered. I will never order from Kuiu again!!! Order a pair of gloves too and threads started coming loose in less than a week. I emailed their warranty department almost 2 weeks ago and still don't have a resolution!!! Their customer service is unacceptable!!!!
