NAC/Protein Concentrate Powder/Various Supplements
Nutricost for me has been a stable company. I use several of their products and am happy. Whenever I write email or call with questions, I receive courteous, informed responses. Seems people either are happy with Nutricost or for what ever reason they bad mouth the company and their products. I keep looking for substantiation or validation for the negative claims, but never really find any. I buy through Amazon and have the assurance as a Prime member of being able to return if product doesn't meet expected standards, has damage due to ship, etc. My thinking is keep buying Nutricost until they prove to me I need to look elsewhere.
hello tulips,
please tell me what nutricost products have you used? how long have you used them? how did you make contact when in need of assistance? i am sold by their prices, BUT i have used two of their products -- i had problems with delivery (one was never sent), with the label being totally different than what was advertised on amazon and their site. I never got a response after every way possible i could find and several times trying.
As far as the two products that i tried, they both (gymnema sylvestre and magnesium two supplements i have taken for 6-10 years. one to control my glucose level and one to control constipation) did not work AND worst of all i ended up with skin rashes from both that literally made my skin ooze ....
I suppose my experience would not help those who have not experienced what i have, but i feel compelled to share this with all who can benefit from mine.
if, Tulips, you can guide me to resources to help me at nutricost, it would be so appreciated. thank you
barbaraTheobromine purchase
I just bought some Theobromine from this company and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised by how quick they were and how good the product is. Ordering was easy peasy, and I got my stuff right on time. The product itself was awesome, just what I needed. And the best part? It didn't break the bank. I totally suggest checking them out if you need some supplements.
Affordable high-quality supplements
Nutricost has really great supplements that don't break the bank. I've been super impressed with how well the stuff I've bought works. Whether it's protein powders or vitamins, they've got everything I need to help me reach my health and fitness goals.
quality products, poor customer service
The stuff I bought was pretty good quality and didn't break the bank, but man, the customer service was a real letdown. I tried calling and emailing but never heard back from anyone. And when I wanted to return something, it was a pain and I had to pay for shipping without even knowing if I'd get my money back.
Shipment returned
My package got sent back to the company, and they told me to fill out a form on their website. But, when I went on there, I couldn't find any form. I tried giving them a call and leaving a message, but they never called me back. I wouldn't suggest dealing with them.
Recent supplement purchase
I bought some supplements from this company recently and let me tell you, it was a complete disaster. The quality of the products was awful and fell way short of what I was expecting. And don't even get me started on the customer service - it was absolutely terrible. I tried to voice my concerns and all I got in return was rudeness and unhelpfulness. It was such a frustrating and disappointing experience overall. I suggest you stay far away from this brand and go for more trustworthy options like eBay, Amazon, or iHerb. Those honest reviewers warning about Nutricost aren't joking - they can really damage the reputation of any online store they partner with.
Vitamin E supplements
I just bought some Vitamin E supplements from this company, and I was kind of bummed when I found out they use synthetic Vitamin E instead of the natural stuff. Everyone knows natural vitamins are way better for you. Plus, I did some digging and it looks like this company, even though they're in Utah, probably gets their products from China. As someone who cares about honesty and quality, that's pretty worrying to me.
B2 supplement purchase
I was super excited to order some B2 supplements from this place, but man, their website is a total mess. I clicked on the item, added it to my cart, went through the whole checkout process, and then a few hours later, I get an email saying the item was actually out of stock! Seriously, why even have it on the website if it's not available? And to make it worse, they said I gotta wait until they restock it unless I reply within 2 days. Trying to talk to someone on the phone is a whole challenge too, it's like looking for Santa Claus in July.
R-Alpha Lipoic Acid purchase
This company only sells ALA in the R-form, but it's only 100mg, way too low for nerve issues. The normal daily dose is supposed to be between 300mg to 600mg, so why doesn't Nutricost have higher doses? It makes no sense! I had to take six of their 100mg capsules everyday just to reach the recommended 600mg. When I brought this up with them, their response was useless. It seems like they want you to keep buying more by not giving enough in one dose. They do have a 600mg dose of lab-made ALA, but why not offer the natural R-form in higher amounts? It's just a scam. Other sellers online have the right doses, why settle for Nutricost's low-quality version? Save your money, don't buy this supplement.
Protein powder
I bought this protein powder, right, and it was a disaster! I didn't even get my order, man. I sent so many emails and made a ton of phone calls, but they straight up ignored me. Finally, after waiting for weeks, they sent me an email with a UPS tracking link. But when I clicked on it, turns out the package got returned to sender! They didn't even bother to check the link themselves. I managed to get someone on the phone and spilled the whole story. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for a refund. Such a pain, you know?
Wrong order issue.
I tried to contact customer service about the mix-up with my order, but they haven't said a word. I sent them an email as soon as I noticed the mistake, but it's been more than a week and I haven't gotten a reply. Instead of helping me out and fixing the problem, they just sent me a standard email about returning orders, completely ignoring what I actually asked. Having to go through my credit card company to dispute the charges is really frustrating, to say the least.
MCT oil purchase experience
I bought some MCT oil back on July 20th, but man, shipping was a nightmare. UPS said they dropped it off at the post office, but the post office denied ever getting it. After waiting for two whole weeks, I finally reached out to the company. They basically left me to figure out where my lost package went. Eventually, they did agree to give me a refund for the product, but refused to cover the shipping, even though it was UPS who messed up. And to top it off, when they gave me my refund, they couldn't even do the math right.
L-Lysine for cold sores
I tried taking L-Lysine from this site, but man, it just didn't do the trick! Usually, when I use this stuff, it works wonders, but not this time. It actually made my cold sores even worse, so I had to ditch it and go with a different brand. Luckily, now I'm back to feeling like myself again.
L-Arginine purchase
I bought some l-Arginine online and honestly, it was a pretty bad experience. When I opened it up, I immediately noticed a strong smell and taste of ammonia, which meant I couldn't use it at all. So I contacted Nutricost's customer service team to let them know what was up. They asked me to send over photos of the container and product codes, only to tell me that because I bought it through a retailer, it was their problem to deal with. It felt like I was just jumping through hoops to get a replacement for an $11 item. Total waste of my time and effort, to be honest. I'll definitely be spreading the word about this negative experience and leaving some not-so-great reviews in the future.
