Full version of software
The software did a great job compressing files and getting my documents organized. But man, those notifications about the trial version expiring were seriously annoying. They kept popping up all the time and really distracted me. It made me think twice about wanting to keep using the software. I mean, why do I need to be reminded so often, especially when the program used to be free? The software itself worked fine, but those notifications definitely didn't help my experience.
Subscription package
This company works just like a lot of others, using a subscription model. It can be really annoying for us customers, especially when money is tight. I reached out to them to cancel my renewal because of the tough financial situation right now, but instead of doing that, they sent me a thank you invoice for payment of the subscription. I'm taking legal steps to try to get my money back and I'll also be filing a complaint with the advertising ombudsman. It's not cool to operate like this, with false promises, no clear way to cancel, and making charges without permission. This kind of business behavior is just not OK in Australia, or anywhere for that matter.
Zip file compression software
I just bought this zip file compression software for work, you know, and man, it was such a pain dealing with all those constant messages bugging me to upgrade to a subscription. Like, come on, I already paid for the thing! But nope, those pop-ups just kept coming. I finally had to uninstall it just to get a break from all the ads. Super frustrating, gotta say.
Subscription auto renewal
Watch out for the automatic renewal thing when you sign up for this service. I tried out the free trial, liked what I saw, so I decided to pay for a full year. Turns out, they automatically renewed my subscription without me knowing, and charged my credit card. When I tried to cancel it on their website, there was no way to stop the renewal. I called customer service, explained what happened, but they wouldn't give me a refund because of their strict 30-day policy. Just a heads up, their subscription process can be tricky - you might not realize you're being charged until it's too late to get your money back. Can't say anything about the product since I never even got to use it.
License renewal issue
I had a really bad time trying to renew my license for this product. I renewed it in September, but then got a reminder in November. I tried reaching out to customer service through email several times about this issue, but never heard back. I also tried to stop the auto-renewal in the product settings, but they still took out a second payment from my account. The fact that customer service didn't communicate or help at all is super disappointing, and it makes me question the company's honesty. On top of that, I noticed that when I signed up, I was bombarded with adware that I couldn't turn off. That just made a bad situation even worse. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this company after the way they treated me.
Software purchase
My experience with the software has been pretty disappointing. I goofed and bought the paid version, but now I'm getting slammed with desktop ads that I can't turn off. When I buy software, I want it to work smoothly without being constantly bothered by ads I don't want. WinZip is supposed to be for storing files, not for bombarding me with ads. The software might work fine, but the annoying ads make it not worth it.
Automatic renewal failure
I had this annoying situation with the software that didn't renew like it was supposed to. It had been over a week since I saw that it was set to renew automatically, but then when I went to use it, it said it was expired. I tried to validate it a bunch of times, but nothing worked, even though the website said I was good to go. I tried everything - reinstalling, rebooting, and even uninstalling and then reinstalling, but I just kept getting stuck in this endless loop of frustration.

I signed up for a subscription like a year ago for documents and all I get is ads constantly! I tried to cancel but the link on the invoice is broken. Really? That's not cool at all.

I got this license to stop those annoying pop-up ads, but they just won't quit! I keep telling them to go away, but they keep popping up. I've reached out to them multiple times, but no luck. It's really getting on my nerves!
Unwanted software installation
After I bought the software, I was really bummed out to see that it started installing extra stuff on my computer without even asking me. So, I quickly got rid of the program and made an account just to vent about how unhappy I was with the whole thing.
File compression software
Honestly, I had a really bad time with the software I was using to compress files before. Every time I tried to compress or decompress a file, it would keep asking me for money, which was super annoying and made it a huge hassle to use. The non-stop pop-ups demanding payment made me feel like I was being trapped by the software. So, in the end, I decided to switch to a different file compression program that didn't make me keep coughing up cash.
Zipped file creation
I recently got the new version of a file compression software so I could easily zip and send multiple files to my coworkers. But man, was I bummed out by the new update. The old version worked great for me for years, but this new one was a mess. Instead of just zipping my files, it changed them into some fancy format that you needed the pro version to open. Having to pay just to see basic files was a major pain, and not something I wanted to deal with during my workday. Now I'm looking for something else to use because I'm totally unhappy with this software now.
